  1. big chain and padlock here too, made by fortknox 13mm chain and heavy duty padlock, probably puts me over the weight limit mind..

  3. was waiting for that one..
  4. there will be loadbay issues with the lpg tank in the vehicle, i have seen them behind the sills instead but they get ragged off pretty easily..
  5. then it doesnt have one, they are usually for soft jappy types anyway, landrovers dont need them.. sounds like a caliper at fault, but needs disks/pads at same time obviously, or put up with a lovely foot massage every time you brake..
  6. it will be on top of the rear axle if there is one..
  7. google greencard.. any pics?
  8. nice, i have been known to write 'tree removed from rear' on my invoices more than once..
  9. try the link in post 1. brings you back here.. clever eh? i dont understand computers..
  10. 'how often do you come?' meaning- when will you return to re-trim the hedge?.. 'can you trim my bush?' usually followed by my enquiring if its the one at the front or rear.. all the rest are definitely not unintentional..
  11. whats the carving? looks like a couple of race cars on a truck/trailer out of fallen log? or are my eyes going funny?
  12. bad news rob,

  16. to be fair i was giving it the beans..[[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSn7k_zKzGg&feature=player_profilepage]]YouTube - stihl boot vs ms460[/ame]
  17. we had a demo lastyear at myerscough, with a log in trousers, one snagged without cutting the log while the other one cut right through.. that was on a seam though
  18. not a laboratory test but tried cutting an old stihl groundy boot with a saw, ms460, willow log inside it, first cut the ankle and saw went straight through, then cut toes off just back from toecap and again saw went straight through, no blocking material made it to the sprocket at all, the saw struggled a bit with the sole as the stump wasnt level.. i'll pop a vid up if i manage later, next weeks test on the other boot will be done at lower rpm to try and clog the sprocket..
  19. mines exempt from tax and seatbelts..
  20. already got mine, just waiting for a quiet spell to push it through its first mot in many years..
  21. i'll be there the day after friday, unless i re-top some conifers really fast friday morning:001_tt2:
  22. i was standing a board in there but everytime i look away it falls down, oh well due to staffing malfunction (day off) tomorrow i might look into a solution. how about a remote controlled tree climbing robot that grips the stem like a harvester head, and drives up until it gets to a branch, then grips the branch and cuts/ lowers it down on a rope, or just cuts and drops if you press a button..
  23. was well impressed when i invented a hole in the chipbox with a chainsaw for the ladders to poke through.. i wish someone would invent some way of stopping the chip coming through when the ladders aren't in there..
  24. last few while theres still interest in them.. they are meant to be trippy and poisonous i think -wahay donk..!
  25. seen plenty in the last couple of years but never as brightly coloured as these, at first i thought 'no way- they must be ornaments!' the biggest was like a dinnerplate and the smallest undeveloped ones were like a spiny puffball type,
