  1. nice vid. not sure if one handed use of 660 is best example to post on public forum though.
  2. we did 3 days in a field with 2 horses in sept. I totally ignored them when we first started. they soon lost interest until second day when one of the lads dropped an apple tree. after that complete pain in ass, damn thing then chewed the little indicator off the wing of the truck. Quick gaffer tape repair - still going strong. Also pretty scary when they started fighting and biting each other. Had to stop work put white tape electric fence up with no battery but it worked. By the way do you drive a burgandy rover rover???
  3. I only sell the odd load of logs but keep getting requests for green ash for woodburners as it burns a bit longer. Probably sold more green than seasoned this year, it suits me better as i dont have much storage space.
  4. more likely a damper than a spring. find chassis plate then contact the manufacturer.
  5. dragging wet willow out of river then over the rotten fence you dare not touch then the long uphill drag across the manicured lawn down side of the house(minding the loose sky wire and dodgy plastic downspout with sharp 90degree turn to the waiting chipper and then the clear up...

  13. pjkevet, may be worth considering a pto splitter to go on your new tractor? That would sort most of the rings. And save your back for other jobs.
  14. the ipaf course + cs39 is considered to be same as cs 47
  15. difficult to say without inspection. maybe use throw line to attach pull rope. start to cut hinge at ground level, take a bore to ascertain solid wood if poss cut hinge then bore in for backcut , if hollow get plenty of wedges every 12 inches just knocked in firm but not hard enough to lift it, everyone clear then pull over with winch.
