  1. Oh Felix, I just had an image of you mincing around the woodchip pile in just those pink stripy knickers 🙈
  2. Definitely a top end Viking mower, I have a Honda pro and the Viking is much better although neither are within your budget. Honda do a 4 stroke strimmer.
  3. Sold the ranger tipper now, So I'm out....
  4. I got my Brian James the same day from Anglian Trailer Centre.
  5. I've got the Brian James tipper 10x5 and would highly recommend it.
  6. I just signed it...... Wonder if someone could put a link up?
  7. Look at the top end Viking Mowers
  8. Yes 6ft 7" here truck cab 130 no problem with a small wheel
  9. Each site is slightly different the majority of my sites I also do the grounds maintenance too and do not take a retainer. Generally if it falls below zero we go and spread during the night, If its forecast heavy snow put a thick layer of salt down then when it comes to ploughing it's much easier as believe me it still settles on top as in general there is not enough traffic movement to keep it clear. Also try ground control they will provide you with salt for there sites. Mitie are doing a lot around here they are using ford ranger single cabs with snow ex on back. I also use White Salt for near buildings entrances as it has a lot less residue for walking through buildings etc. Oh and use BS rock salt cheap grit contains stones which get caught in the snow ex augers and burn out the motor. Hope that's of help...
  10. UK Landscapes pay £50hr for snow clearing min of 4hrs, Speak to Geoff Bennett and get on his list for your area they do Asda, Morrisons, Aldi etc... Be careful not too charge too little as salt ruins your kit and it's mostly unsociable hours, I charge roughly £120.00 for a medium size supermarket site which includes providing the salt. I have a glasdon pedestrian spreader in vgc and a 9ft Tractor snowplough for sale which is unused if interested.
  11. I'm sure he will post a pic up for you...
  12. Sounds like you got off lightly!
  13. After reading your comments previously about the Viking mowers I got a MB655 and its superb never had a mower cut so well especially in the wet.
  14. I've got the japa type which works well for my needs, I find the cone splitter very quick on straight pieces but don't bother with anything knotty that gets done by the big tractor splitter.
  15. 2002 130 Tipper = 103,000 1998 Disco 300Tdi = 130,000 2006 Disco 3 = SCRAPPED!!

  18. Can't beat building up a relationship with your local dealer mine will bend over backwards to help, I Would rather pay a few quid extra for the piece of mind of just dropping it in should something crop up with it.
