Andy; we do gritting on commercial premises mainly business parks and car parks to get in with these contracts its not what you know but who you know! we started doing a contract on a particular business park for one occupier now we do 70% of the entire business centre, there is money to be had but its not all good going out everynite between 22:00-05:00 becomes a chore. buy your rock salt in summer and have good stocks for winter (try buying salt at the moment). oh and when someone slips /crashes its you they come to sue! so have good insurance. these guys are up your neck of the woods Icewatch - Keeping your car parks and walkways ice-free

  4. ben, bit to cold for the quad mate give me a truck with heater anyday!
  5. we have got the fuelwood log bagging device, dont go there mate doesnt work unless you have 100% uniform logs we only use ours for bagging kiln dried kindling which it works well for.
  6. logs are flying out in sunny (snowy) essex, busier than last year all last years customers have reordered which is good, plenty of new customers who have had some stories to tell.

  8. the old hilux and nissan d21 have bench seats in the front there only any good for nippers as the gear stick is where your feet should be

  21. Bit Of An Old Girl But A Usefull Tool For Small Stuff.
  22. We Store Hardwood In Home Made Cages On Pallets (As Seen On Poplar Thread) Using Stock Fencing Then Just Cover The Tops With Tarp Or Tin, Its Surprising How Many Logs Fit In These Cages Especially Good When Space Is An Issue.
