When you have been burgled and lost everything and your lively hood is on the line and plod says we don't have the resources available to look into it reading this would leave a sour taste in your mouth!

You sound well within your rights to a refund for those items. It's just there is a minority abusing the system, I sold over 500 items with 100% feedback and 4.9 for item description just seems wrong a new member with 2 feedbacks can buy and scam you. Common sense the person who has been trading on there for ten years and has the feedback to prove should be the most trustworthy.

Have you ended up keeping items and getting refunded? It's good there is a system in place but it's not fit for purpose and open widely to fraudsters / people taking advantage.

Hi James, Really kind offer the value to be honest I don't mind swallowing and wouldn't want to put any one out. What I will do if it's ok if the item doesn't get sent back and they end up keeping it I will pay you to go there and get it for me at a convenient time.

Yes it was PayPal they just debited the funds without speaking to me first. I have several pictures of the item and clearly shows the condition. System seems very wrong.

Yeah cheers, The system is wrong as it only protects the buyers it would seem.

Sold something on eBay a fortnight ago now buyer has the item and complaining the items not as described I just had funds withdrawn from my account. So now minus the item and the payment other than driving to Cumbria and visiting the little shi*e is there anything you can do to get your money back?
