  1. Blood on the tracks (of SWB's wee chipper)-Bob Dylan
  2. Back(swing)stabbers by the OJs?
  3. Great example of the litigious society we are becoming but I liked the Dr.Strangelove pic
  4. Mate, do we really need to know that?
  5. Exactly the problem I had on my very short learning curve with it
  6. I think I have got myself a placement 3 days a week to fit around uni, which will hopefully let me practise enough. The team I worked with on Friday were great, perfectly cool with the fact that I want to learn as I work. So basically, watch this space
  7. Hope your tetanus is up to date. Make sure you keep your eye out for any sign of infection too.
  8. Ouch!! Hope it heals quick and clean, mate.
  9. Well done! I'm busy trying to get the practice in before retaking it myself. It was a complete waste of time and money to take the assessment straight after doing the course, and I don't know why they do it that way.
  10. I must admit that it seems odd that Ebay let them bid with no contact details. Have you spoken to ebay, and if so what did they say?
  11. Normally, you would have to take reasonable steps to sell it elsewhere for the best price you could get and, once you have sold it, you could sue for any difference in the price agreed with them and the price you sold for eg if you agreed a price of £1000 with them and could only get £800 elsewhere, you would sue for £200. Not sure where you would go with this one as it is a straightforward breach of contract and, as such, you haven't actually made a loss yet as you still have the bike. You would certainly be entitled to your auction fees for starters though.
  12. Just done a day with these guys. What a great firm!
  13. When you say engine oil, do you mean 2 stroke? Unless the warranty specifies using a particular brand, it shouldn't invalidate it.
  14. Ask in Harvester, they sell it as House white
