  1. If they are subjected to wide variance in temperature, I would assume that condensation would form causing rotting to occur.
  2. The problem with willow is the light weight when the customer picks the bag up!
  3. Anyway, they aren't all bad cos Bob Flowerdew thinks Leylandii are the spawn of Satan
  4. Oregons, always good quality and I got a good price on them.
  5. Oh, I graft, don't worry about that It was a real pleasure to get a chance to have a chat with the guy who trained me for CS31 when I saw him at Ickworth yesterday, helped to put things in perspective about where I am going with this career change.
  6. Indeed, Rupe, the problem isn't in me not knowing what I want to do but in finding someone that it all fits with. I have a slight advantage in that I'm only looking for 3 days a week but at the moment it's a result when I get one. Luckily, I have other things which pay but it is still a struggle at times.
  7. I agree with your comments Ian but, in my experience so far, getting anywhere with other companies is very difficult as opportunities seem to be few and far between at the moment. I'm slowly getting breaks from some kind people on here but it has been hard going.
  8. Just got back and it was really good. Didn't see anyone from here that I know of but was great to see Steve Woodley axe hewing beams
  9. True, but some of my work is gardening and you would be amazed how many old dears listen to it and the grill me on my next visit

  11. The wok is on, it's stir-fry o'clock
  12. Get your mind out of the gutter I mean that I'm struggling to get any chances of work with people, exploitative or otherwise.
  13. If I was him, I would be suing whoever made me wear that bloody awful jumper. Actually, I think I have seen him on Southend High Street.
  14. I look like Robby Coltrane's younger brother and the missus looks like Supernanny lol
  15. If I can persuade she who must be obeyed, I might see you there, Steve
  16. No worries, mate. Don't forget, if you ever get stuck and need a spare pair of hands for a couple of days, I don't mind a bit of travel
