  1. Might be worth contacting a gunstock manufacturer.
  2. When I worked at the Sportsman casino at Marble Arch inthe late 90s/early 2000s, Madonna and Guy Ritchie used to drink in the Carpenter's Arms pub where us gaming staff drank and I heard her do a very unladylike Guiness burp
  3. Count me in, mate, if you will take someone part-time. 07739 556764
  4. Great pics, Tommer. Hope you weren't wearing the waders in the boat
  5. Some great comedy on R4 and Any Questions is cool.
  6. Doesn't it feel good to get that off your chest? We're here for you.
  7. All depends if you want revenge or your trailer?
  8. Contact him and tell him he is in breach of contract, for which you intend to take him through the small claims court.
  9. The contract is binding as soon as the first bid is placed, the contract being that to sell the item to the highest bidder, in the case of Ebay when the predetermined time has elapsed. If there was no reserve, it is of no account that he didn't make what he wanted for it.
  10. You have a legally binding contract with the seller at the auction's end and, unless they pulled out before the auction ended or a reserve was not met, they are obliged to sell to you at the agreed price. If they sell to someone else, you are entitled to either find another trailer to buy and sue them for the difference or, if the trailer is a "special" or one-off, you can obtain a decree of specific performance which forces the sale through. Worth mentioning this to the guy and seeing what he does. The only exception would be if the item belonged to a third-party and the seller held no title on it, leaving the sale voidable or void, depending on whether the issue was mistake or fraud.
  11. If I can be any use, I'll gladly share the travel with you mate.
  12. I have it as a piece of history. My dad can remember using them on National Service in his youth, as can his older brother who was just old enough to serve at the end of WW2. When it comes down to it, a gun is a tool just like a saw and the only problem comes about with the individual using it.
  13. Was working at Hanningfield Reservoir this week and the level there is seriously low.
  14. Tis indeed, a 1944 Inglis model, unfortunately a de-ac. If you really want one, go to something like War and Peace in the summer, take cash and buy at the end of the day
  15. .410? Or a 12 bore? Failing that, I could do you one of these but I don't think your trees would like it
