  1.
  2. Cheers mate, but all sorted via pm.
  3. Not surprised with the size of your bum, lardy
  4. As per title really. I need some small bales of Barley straw for algae control in a lake and wondered if anybody knew where I could get some? Cheers!
  5. Had a really good time at the show yesterday. Wasn't muddy and there was always something going on. A few bargains there if anyone is looking for Goretex too. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for something to do in the area today.
  6. Cheers Rupert. Did you have any flooding down that way yesterday?
  7. Anybody near Detling that can let me know how wet it is over there today, please?
  8. Just seen on BBC news that heaviest rainfall yesterday was over 2" about 5 miles away from me in Shoebury.
  9. I'm ashamed to say I haven't yet.
  10. Hopefully going to get to Military Odyssey in Kent with girlfriend's dad. We were supposed to go today but rain was way too bad. Fingers xed for the morning.
  11. Only seen the seafront underwater because of rain once before more than 10 years ago and even then it wasn't that bad.
  12. As long as I can't be done for drunk in charge of a watercraft.
  13. Yeah, rub it in, why don't you? If I want to go to the pub tonight, I have to get my kayak out.
  14. No danger for me either, Deano, my road is on a ridgeline . Only problem is if I want to leave 'Sunny Sarfend'.
  15. Looking at the local news reports, it seems like South-east Essex is slowly disappearing underwater. How's everybody else faring?
  16. Get stuck into the cider then, mate.
  17. Rainy since 5am and much cooler than yesterday. Typical Bank Holiday weather, rescheduled visit to Military Odyssey for tomorrow.
  18. Reminds me of the story about the constipated mathematician who had to work it out with a pencil.
  19. They look great, David. Number 5 looks like the sort of thing we are thinking of but I will show them 1 and 2 to see if I get a bite.
  20. That's a possible.
  21. Have you got a thread title please, David?
  22. We've been clearing some neglected woodland recently with the aim of allowing the owner and his family to enjoy more of the estate. We will be creating a bit of a clearing where we are taking out some unsafe trees etc and are considering creating a bit of a play area for the owners' grandkids ( infant/junior school age). I wondered if anybody on the forum has done anything similar before and what you found that did or didn't work. There is already a normal playground with swings, trampoline etc near the main house so we were thinking of something more unusual. Unfortunately, where the wood was so densely packed, there are no suitable branches for hanging tyre swings etc. All sensible suggestions gratefully received.
  23. What are your spacings between trees and what sort of finish do you want? We have a similar sounding orchard here where we just mow paths with an Iseki ride-on mower and leave the rest to it. Must be pretty sound as this year we had a swarm of bees colonise a hive which had been empty for the 2 years previous.
  24. Thanks guys. All sorted.
  25. Can anybody point me in the right direction to buy a couple of clean 1000 litre IBCs near Brentwood in Essex please? I need a couple to cobble together a watering wagon for the estate. Cheers!
