  1. Spot on. UN Security Council action has to be unanimous or not at all, which means it only takes China or Russia to be feeling a bit arsey to stymie anything.
  2. More a crime against humanity, I would have thought.
  3. And not yourself this time.
  4. Strong black tea will sort you out, mate. The tannin kills off whatever has given you the thrupennies.
  5. Best post on the subject yet. A big problem is that while feckless idiots can hump away sans condom without a concern for the consequences as society will pick up the tab, the people that do produce children will often just be producing more of the same selfish cretins as themselves.
  6. Are you insane, man?!?! Why should we adjust our lifestyle when we can crap all over all the other life on the planet? Next thing you will be saying that cutting down the rain forest is wrong,
  7. You never know, I might be tempted out of retirement if the price (and catering) is right.
  8. Stunt-fell it, gaylord.
  9. Looks like a fell for this one. Crown is now in rapid decline.
  10.
  11. Cheers mate, but all sorted via pm.
  12. Not surprised with the size of your bum, lardy
  13. As per title really. I need some small bales of Barley straw for algae control in a lake and wondered if anybody knew where I could get some? Cheers!
  14. Had a really good time at the show yesterday. Wasn't muddy and there was always something going on. A few bargains there if anyone is looking for Goretex too. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for something to do in the area today.
  15. Cheers Rupert. Did you have any flooding down that way yesterday?
  16. Anybody near Detling that can let me know how wet it is over there today, please?
  17. Just seen on BBC news that heaviest rainfall yesterday was over 2" about 5 miles away from me in Shoebury.
  18. I'm ashamed to say I haven't yet.
  19. Hopefully going to get to Military Odyssey in Kent with girlfriend's dad. We were supposed to go today but rain was way too bad. Fingers xed for the morning.
  20. Only seen the seafront underwater because of rain once before more than 10 years ago and even then it wasn't that bad.
  21. As long as I can't be done for drunk in charge of a watercraft.
  22. Yeah, rub it in, why don't you? If I want to go to the pub tonight, I have to get my kayak out.
  23. No danger for me either, Deano, my road is on a ridgeline . Only problem is if I want to leave 'Sunny Sarfend'.
  24. Looking at the local news reports, it seems like South-east Essex is slowly disappearing underwater. How's everybody else faring?
