1. You've been warned about having a fiddle before.
2. Somewhere in your dreams?
3. That's you right off my Xmas card list, matey.
4. I found Arbtalk when I was a free-lance groundie and it was invaluable for making new contacts etc. Now I'm an estate manager, it is a great source of information as well as a good way to keep in contact with the industry and friends I have made on here. It's also the perfect way to keep an eye on Geoff; I know if he is still posting then he hasn't come a cropper on his Zimmer frame.
5. Especially if the neighbour is a farmer.
6. Do you know for definite that there is a TPO on this tree?
7. Difficult if not impossible to guess when it will fail. As for responsibility, do your deeds say who is responsible for that boundary?
8. Another one for Meripilus here. Not looking good for that one, I'm afraid.
9. Have a look at the Forestry Commission site. Great surroundings and cabins but a bit pricey though.
10. I got a 357, never been used and still in the box, for £350 a couple of years ago.
11. Thanks Sam. They are literally our next door neighbours!
12. I have a large area of topsoil (2 verges between 2m and 4m wide by around 700m long) which I need to seed when the weather is a bit cooler. Can anybody recommend where in Essex or nearby I can hire something to go behind a quad or tractor to sow the grass seed as, not surprisingly, I don't fancy doing it all on foot?
13. As with so many things on here concerning humour, it has to be Mr Bolam's.
14. It's ok, I wasn't planning on bidding on that really.
15. I believe whether or not it is your birthday has some bearing on it as well.
16. Always a dilemma, Josh.
17. I wouldn't be 100% sure of that, given some recent discussions on here.
18. The vote of inaction against Hitler was unavoidable due to the chronic underspending on defence in the 1930s. Britain was in no way ready to stand-up to Hitler before 1939, and in fact was barely able then either.
19. Had exactly the same recently with a willow ( bark detached first followed now by crown dying off) but that is in the middle of a private estate so poisoning unlikely. Might be best to not jump to conclusions straight away, although arsey neighbours are well worth suspecting.
20.
Good thanks, Steve. Things good with Nigel?

21. I believe it is now the only law left on the Statute books to still attract the ultimate penalty.
22. Please don't feel you have to.
23. It does go with the caravan though.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
