  1. The confusion here is not the actual unit of measure but the difference between loose and stacked volumes. If you bought a loose cubic metre, ie a bag 1mx1mx1m, then you would still be left with less a cubic metre once you stacked it. I'm not criticising you as I can understand where the problem arises but I don't think you could say that the seller has given you a short measure as the question you asked concerned the size of the bag and nothing else. The inclusion of Pine in what is supposed to be a bag of hardwood is wrong though.
  2. Nobody else looking for a nice big annual order then? More than happy to have a few suppliers band together to make up the total.
  3. The seals are definitely on the list.
  4. All great ideas, far better than Stevie Blair's suggestion. Geoff's tried that one and said it was crap:lol:
  5. Thanks guys. Keep 'em coming.
  6. Myself and my long suffering better half are off to Norfolk in the morning for a few days. Anyone got any recommendations for things to do, must-sees and good places to eat/drink? Thanks in advance.
  7. I think it's depressing and rather shameful when I see the sort of oxygen-thieving dole scum this country has been producing for the last couple of decades.
  8. I've got a nice W-reg B2500 I will be selling soon but it's a double cab.
  9. Don't forget the Mazda B2500 as well as the Ranger.
  10. And your budget.
  11. It depends on whether or not you are a true sub contractor or hired in labour. If you are working under his instruction then you are seen as an employee and you would not have to do your own individual RA.
  12. Good luck with that one, Rich! If I was you, I'd settle for him not sitting in anybody else's and anything else is a bonus.
  13. They are very rare Branch Davidian bees, Mark.
  14. Whoever runs the place should be given a very simple decision to make; Get rid of the padlocks during opening hours or justify their actions to the local press.
  15. No, you haven't read your script. You're supposed to bid £30 and then rub my nose in it. Amateur!
  16. Oh no you're not.
  17. Bidding on the firewood is going well so far, I think.
  18. Well done, mate! Looks like bidding is starting nicely.
  19. Always ready to take any chip you want to get shot of, fella.
  20. Problem is, if you do it that way they will think you have suddenly become very expensive. Better just to be upfront about it in the first place. After all, the change of spec is their's so they would have to be extremely naive to think you would do extra work for free.
  21. I thank the Lord for that every day.
  22. Get on with it, Doris. My chip pile needs topping up.
