  1. I work just around the corner from this and it has been a massive, smelly ball-ache.
  2. Thanks Mike
  3. Thanks Barry. 2 more questions, if I may? Where would I find the solenoid in question and do you have a ballpark figure of cost for a replacement please?
  4. Hope he didn't have the cheek to try and phone in sick the next day.
  5. Christ(other deities are available), don't start that up again!
  6. Ignition switch clicked ok. Haven't tested the battery yet but will try jump starting it in morning. Doesn't seem like a flat battery though, more like a shut out of the starter circuit.
  7. Hi Eddie. Thanks for replying. It cut out when I was moving it without the deck running. When I went to restart it, the switch was dead ie the starter wasn't turning the engine over. I checked the switch by the rear wheel and it makes contact when the gear selector is in reverse but no other time.I also checked the dead man switch under the seat and couldn't see any broken wires or corrosion. It was breaking the contact when the seat was pushed down. I'm assuming that they work the same way as the kill switch on a saw in that they earth the circuit.
  8. Oh well, that's alright then. By the way, it's not just Ebay's rules.
  9. Unless his description is factually incorrect, you've bought it already.
  10. Need some help please.I have a Yardman TA 4135 which died on me yesterday at work and when I went to re-start it, it was like one of the inhibitor switches was on (dead man switch or similar). Anything other than broken wires to look for? TIA
  11. Tried my new Echo out on a day grounding for Arbogrunt at my in-laws'. Very useful saw, reminded me a bit of a 346. Might have a look at the exhaust to see if any improvements can be made.
  12. Husqvarna 135 is a decent little saw for the money or have a look at the Echo range. I just got the CS450 and it's a great bit of kit.
  13. Fantastic news, mate. Best wishes to the whole clan.
  14. Probably because it is pretty final amd not likely to be undone by somebody else.
  15. The time to worry is when they do.
  16. If you look at it as end user or not, it makes it easier. The pub isn't selling them on so it's 5%
  17. New saw turned up today. Went with the Echo and looks good on first impressions. Going to try it out at the weekend.
  18. Thanks for the help but no longer a worry as I sold the truck several months ago.
  19. They did a farm near to where I work in Fryerning last week as well.
  20. Do you remember what you came in here for?
