  2. Thanks for that i will give em a bell tomorrow cheers for that.
  3. I personaly recon the 346 could be a bit to much for a beginner, they have a knack of kicking back when you least expect it,that dont happen as much with a 180.
  4. Ms 180 cheap as chips and great to start with.
  5. As the title says im after some bits for my Gravely wood chipper anyone got any ideas who i can contact, main dealers etc cheers folkes.
  6. Just seen the 24 ton version on u tube, looked good but i wouldnt pay 4 grand for one,i recon you could make something very similar for half that money.
  7. Harrows r us they advertise on ebay they have petrol splitters in your price range,i bought mine from them and ive been well pleased.
  8. I recon your right matey,hell of a saw though,good luck .
  9. That looks an expensive over and under very nice that, ive got an over and under Baikal, nothing fancy but does the job.
  10. FR jones was looking to import something with a similar name i believe but dont quote me on that.
  11. I pay 30 quid a cubic meter delivered so road side should be nearer the 20 mark.
  12. Didnt someone on here get kicked off a course because the 346 they took was to powerful ie chain speed,he or she didnt have the correct ballistic trousers,i think they had type a and the requirement was a type c,but i may have that all wrong worth checking though,as for bars and chains mine came with a standaed 15 inch huskey bar and an Oregon chain.
  13. Lorry i dont think its to difficult to get a shot gun certificate, but a rifle is a bit harder,if you join a club its makes life alot easier.
  14. Nice little gun that Lorry my first air rifle was a Daisey Powerline, lovely little gun ive got 4 twelve bores and an air rifle but never go shooting these days,i keep hold of them just in case i get the bug again.
  15. Basic steel bashlins, good basis to start spikes are a bit like Marmite, and any how they spend most of their lives stuck in the bottom of your kit bag,so the less you spend the better, when you get your spikes, find a nice big Corderline wait for it to rain, and climb it youll never forget the experience i promise.
  16. Ive also got a big old Efco 91cc looks like a Huskey but thats where it stops, its made very cheap, bits are poorly made and using soft metals, weve got a very old and hammered Husky 288,and that thing will still bury it,like ive said i tried the cheap route and it didnt work for me,even down to handsaws probably spent about a 100 quid on crapp from B nQ before i bit the bullit and bought a Silky, like i said cheap aint always best.
  17. Total waste of money id rather buy a second hand ms200 on the bay,i went down the cheap route with a tanaka absolute bag of shi. get an ms 200 and save yourself loads of grief, when the new huskey comes out there will be loads of bargains out there, cheap aint always a good thing.
  18. Big airey shed such as a dutch barn is best, not only does the wood stay dry but so do you, dont know much about force drying, but barn drying should only take 3 to 4 months, cheers DB.
  19. I get a similar buzz from my cabstar,no one ever wants to drive her cause shes so querky, rattles a plenty squeaks in abundence but she earns me a living and seldom complains,im still looking for the female equivilent, but alas i think no such beast exists.
  20. transit connect use to drive one daily nice little van, never drove an ldv but my dad used to have a Bedford midi colum change,it was like learning to drive all over again, once had a dodge simca pickup, now that was a truck.
  21. Im glad to hear hes home Lorry, good luck.
  22. it,s not just restricted to larch,we recently took down an infected beech .
