  1. If you want discount and face to face, (with a beer in your hand) go to a trade show.
  2. bought this recently, fits 45m rope, 5m lanyard, pulley saver and harness. it seems very sturdy, but time will tell. only £11.45+vat Rope bag large 70m | F R Jones and Son
  3. nice one! i do have a soft spot for tw 125's
  4. as much as i complain about the heat, i would far rather sweat my *'s off in a tree than do some admin in an aircon filled box.
  5. yeh please try and change his mind about felling! it could easily be between 1000 and 2000 years old. what a beauty!
  6. ^ditto on that! give them a go at climbing trees with chainsaw trousers on in 30deg heat! bet they wouldn't complain about the air con then
  7. i'd rather beg/borrow/steal an extra 8 grand for a decent one (as in not a chop shop bodge job)
  8. So, fellas! (Yeah!) Fellas! (Yeah!) Has your girlfriend got the butt? (Hell yeah!) Tell 'em to shake it! (Shake it!) Shake it! (Shake it!) Shake that healthy butt! Baby got back!
  9. I hope that the 'J' in your name stands for Juggs and the bloke in your avatar is just your husband. In which case go ahead! [/sexist]
  10. i'm no expert in clothes, but do women tend to wear trousers higher than men, like on the waist instead of the hip? i take it you have tried wearing round the hip? if you have and it doesn't work, then stretch air do +7cm length trousers, so at least that will eliminate the hoisty situation
  11. guys ffs this forum needs more girls, don't do your best to repel them!
  12. we have one built along one side of the tipper, so you open the side gate to get to it. also two smaller ones under the tipper (you have to tip to get them open)
  13. nice light touch mate!
  14. they are good, although since putting scrumpy cider in mine at festivals it has developed a distinct vinegary smell that i can't get rid of
  15. either the tracked schliesing 220mx (with new engine £3000 - ouch!) or 350ex we have at work. after working with old 5" - 6" timberwolfs for a few years these are bliss!
  16. true, but you get more ££££ out of a tricky dismantle rather than a simple fell.
  17. yes your not complaining are you james?
  18. i like the natural feel of the hitch. and i really don't mind slack tending myself, which seems to be one of the main things about the sj. the only thing i slightly miss about the sj is the one handed adjustments out on limbs.
  19. awesome stuff! i'll get one of these when i live in a truck.
  20. i was using the sj, but went back to hitch climber/knut and love it! that was irrelevant to your question, sorry
  21. haha there's a load on ebay now, from 60k - 150k !!
  22. My friend lives in rougham and is always looking for cord wood for her fire. I'll ask her for you, although i don't think she'll burn pine or conifer... cheers
  23. ^agree with all of that. police don't seem to give a crap when it comes to traveller crime. they stole my mother in law's horsebox trailer and the police did absolutely nothing apart from take a statement. if they had looked in the local traveller camps they would of found it. does your insurance cover downtime?
  24. good way of looking at it. the only reason i would buy one of these would be as an emergency backup (as in i would hope i would never have to use one), but then i'd rather just have an old 020t or 200t as backup....
