  1. Bloody hell, what a cheek! Our legal system is a joke! Someone caught growing a small amount of weed for personal use will get a hefty fine, community service and a suspended prison sentance - compare that to this little buggger!! How are things anyway? Have you got a new workshop?
  2. It was pretty rotten, i almost put my foot through it when i stood on it, let alone dropping in on it! It didn't get much use anyway, as you can see.
  3. My old mini ramp was pretty rotten and I couldnt be bothered to re-surface it, so I turned it into a log store

    201t vibes

Yes they are alot better, it's a much more comfortable/ergonomic saw to use compared to the 200t, hopefully the gutless engine will be sorted soon, then it will be a great saw.
  5. It is a stupid place to put the sticker, i've had two chain brake handles snap on me in the last couple of years, then you have to replace it without the sticker...
  6. Think he may be talking about if the sticker is missing (like 90% of older 200t's)
  7. well worth a read... http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/large-equipment/13123-wee-chipper-club.html
  8. Wish him a speedy recover Whilst he recovers he can watch the new Girl/Chocolate Video thats coming out very soon! Girl + Chocolate Pretty Sweet DVD Pre-Order Now! - Skateboard DVD's from Native Skate Store UK [ame] [/ame]
  9. If its only good for pruning (which I agree, unless its some nice soft willow or lime), then a 192t or 150t would be better I should imagine due to the weight. I'm really hoping the husky is as good as they say...
  10. From what i saw earlier in the year, the French have their own log stacking competition going on - all very, very neat. Worryingly so. Oh and with their weird 2ft logs aswell...
  11. I like the look of it. Sits nicely inbetween a hitchclimber/vt and spiderjack. I'd like to know how well it does self tending and how much rope needs to sit under it. Can't wait to have a go as i wasn't overly impressed with the spiderjack.
  12. in answer to the reply above^ get a lighter rope. 12mm or 11.7mm makes alot of difference. I've used a 45m imori for a couple of years and never find it a big effort.
  13. this^ i've bought a clocked car in the the past. my fault - didn't ask to see all previous mot's which have the mileage printed. if they don't have mot history, you can look at them online using the v5 reg number https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history-vehicle
  14. I would of done this if i'd seen it in time. Did you manage to find someone?
  15. i like the bit where you tap in the wedge and it goes in time to the music
  16. sent you pm mate just in case you missed it

  17. From what i have gathered after applying for similar jobs to that described in somerset, the wages are alot lower than east anglia. A couple of guys i spoke to at established firms pay their main climbers/team leaders less than £80/day. A similar role in east anglia will get you £90+/day edit: that would be around £19k and £23k+ respectively
  18. I see this 12v hand sharpner the same as using time coded vinyl and Serato Scratch (using your analogy) Best of both worlds.
  19. +1 on the pulley saver! Why have less friction from the roka when you can have no friction? Also you can't choke the roka on a stem, you can only have it round a fork which is a bit limiting. No offence but I don't get why people ask what something is like AFTER they buy it! Its a step up from a bog standard cambium saver at least
  20. i'll keep out of your in-jokes
  21. I've applied for 6 jobs around somerset so fingers crossed Still, if you hear of anything, post details or pm me, thanks.
  22. here you go mate Experienced Arborists Required | CGM Landscapes | Arbjobs.com find Arb jobs / Tree work also i noticed a team leader/climber position for ipswich council BUT it is £6.50 an hour!!!
  23. The keyboard and stand integration looks cool. Not sure about the actual windows bit though....
  24. I'm sorry but I can't even believe you are considering this! If you were offered a 90cc Chinese chainsaw for £50 would you buy it??
