  2. UPDATE 1 Year Later.... Unfortunately i couldn't afford to have 3 vehicles, so had to sell Bew I got as far as putting a sofa bed in her and some other little bits. I have however, kept Clementine, she is an absolute beast! So noisy
  3. oh is it? i though it looked quite long for a 110. the 130 and 150 special should have an interesting turning circle then if ours is anything to go by!
  4. It has one of those each side, not sure where from. The boss bought a new lightwieght alloy tipper body for it so might have got them at the same place.... It also has tool storage on the N/S of the tipper body, where the side gate comes down. Ladder goes on top, so no tools at all in the chip box!
  5. Hi Jon, 130 I think mate.
  6. Our work landy Cramped, but cool.

  9. He sounds like the kind of idiot who has already gone round telling everyone he knows in the local area who he got the wood off. I'd just go and knock him out
  10. upload to ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting then post link here (click do not resize) i seriously can't understand how the editor let that run. the guy sounds like a psycho, surely if he was unhappy he would phone you and discuss, not wait and write an article about it!! edit: just read it a bit bigger, the bit at the end- is he serious? he reckons he's going to write ANOTHER article about it once he gets round to burning it to tell everyone what it's like?! what a nutter!
  11. he got them off the land in the end then shaun?

    Essential Kit

Basic PPE like trousers, boots, helmet and gloves would be a good start. You will prob have to provide your own for the course.
  13. definitely a gap in the market for this! good luck with it
  14. 'Scumgbag' is a bit strong! More suited to thiefs, rapists and the like... It's only a posh uni boat race...and they still finished the race afterwards.
  15. erm... de ja vu?
  16. looked like a good day dan, loving the swing
  17. when i started working for my girlfriends dad doing general labour/fencing/board walks etc, i was being paid £65/day. that was 7 years ago and i was 19ish with no experience or knowledge. he has always appreciated hard work and the people at the bottom getting a fair wage. it soon went up to £80, now i get £100+ if i help him out. i really do think it is insulting paying someone just over minimum wage for a hard days work.
  18. nice one! i'm also a recent convert to the SJ, loving it. you should get a ropeguide or pulley saver, it really compliments it!
  19. You need this thread... http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/arb-trucks/27519-unimogs-rock-thread.html
  20. i don't let it affect me mozz, it's more like 'ha! i'm so glad i'm not like that!' i'd rather have a rusty, lowered 60's beetle
  21. Whenever I see a range rover/bmw x5/audi q7/discovery3 with a private number plate, i just think 'what a complete arsewipe'....but they are sitting inside them thinking everyone is looking at them as some kind of deity!! Don't get me wrong for a second, i am not jealous. I don't buy into their way of thinking, why can't they be a bit more humble with their money?
  22. very nice video i don't know alot about crane work, but the limbs twisting around look a bit dangerous, is it due to poor sling positioning, or is it just inevitable with some limbs...?
  23. needs more cranes.
