  1. throwline/bag, spiderjack and petzl pantin will suit that perfectly!
  2. There are good people in the world! (not the sky bloke ha!) We got £40 in tips today, perhaps because it was raining all day...
  3. wow that's fantastic!
  4. ^ What a lovely point on the landscape. If i lived near there in would spend many a lazy summer afternoon sat beneath it!
  5. I've been to a few 'Wassails' (traditional ceremony that involves singing and drinking the health of trees in the hopes that they might better thrive. The purpose of wassailing is to awake the cider apple trees and to scare away evil spirits to ensure a good harvest of fruit in the Autumn.) at a cider farm in somerset. A good knees up with cider, cheese and folk music. I also get together with friends to celebrate the winter and summer solstice and beltane (if anything a good excuse to see friends, drink good drink and eat good food) I sound like a right alcy now!
  6. Mate that is effin horrible. Hope you can get on your feet asap and those responsible get whats coming.
  7. Well, basing your love life on that book could prove interesting...
  8. That cedar looks great, and the lime before, especially for a first reduction!!

  10. Good post Sam. I get a feeling that i do not get anywhere else, when i'm in the west country/cornwall, amongst some of the ancient monuments (Men-An-Tol, Avebury etc). a sense of belonging perhaps.
  11. The triple spiral is on my tattoo wishlist I am not part of any religion, but my favourite is paganism. I like the mythology and symbolism that surrounds it and i love the art and artifacts (wood henges etc) that have come from it. An Oak tree (Duir) carving
  12. That's where the blower comes into play
  13. definitely feed size
  14. I get them occasionally for an accident I've never had. My house phone rings all the time for ppi claims. Luckily mostly while I'm at work so I don't hear it.
  15. When I wanted to get sky in my first floor flat, they had to send an outside contractor to install it, as they aren't allowed to climb stairs as its a h&s risk. I think the bloke said they had to have three points of contact at all times when climbing stairs, therefore they couldn't carry any equipment! Had to laugh. I'm guessing it's all to do with the ridiculous compensation culture at the moment.
  16. Ha! Thought I recognised the name, I just googled treemotion on google images.
  17. lanyard, caritool which has small tool clip attached to a throwbag and a sling/steel carabiner for small quick rigging. nice and simple, even though the tree motion is supposed to look like this....
  18. I do admire folk who openly admit to their troubles. Good luck with everything.
  19. When the guy stops running, put the curser above his head A bit pointless but quite funny/clever selfcontrolfreak
  20. We rarely have to work on tree's over 60ft in this area, let alone ones with nice open crowns. 3 stage ladders are great, especially just after lunch! I've just got a pantin so when it does come to throwlining it isnt so much of a chore.
  21. awesome.
  22. i have to admit i scarpered like a little girl when it happened. it didn't look like the kind of thing my lungs would enjoy
  23. with a bloody turbosound sound system in it!! my dream
  24. anyone remember this? i saw a bumper sticker today with the same slogan.
