  2. Dont listen to these boring....... Bernt Strasser, one of the best tree climbers in the world has dreads, i guess he copes ok. International Tree Climbing Championship You could always go for the short front and sides and have dreads at the back! Bit of a compromise, I know a guy that did that when he started in the industry.
  3. the snow from a week ago is still here!

  7. I think it looks fine mate. No bart simpson hair cut's going on which is what your aiming for!
  8. my gf's dad has a hilux 250ex single cab with bf goodrich all terrains. great for towing, off road, on road. not as fast as the newer hair dresser pickups, but it's a work truck.
  9. 130 is a brilliant rate! i did the 10 week course 3 years ago, within a couple of months i was getting £90 a day self employed, i have since gone down to £85 to go on the books. it all depends on so many variables.

  11. It's bear-ly worth worrying about. that link says they would ban 'outdoor wood-burning furnaces' so not the ones in the living room surely?
  12. I agree that it could be improved with a bolder font and coloured tree. I just noticed you still haven't corrected the spelling and grammer on your website james
  13. Got any cool pictures of the icicles? Might be one good thing to come from this The tree should survive. (i don't know that, just trying to keep moral up!)
  14. £68 full time climbing or ground/second climber? As a main climber that's really low, regardless of location.
  15. We prune them when they are in full leaf, so may-august ideally. As you have found out, they bleed quite a bit otherwise.
  16. from my limited experience in one, it's cramped, only 2 seater, horrible bouncy ride, not much room in the tip body. advantages are it's size as well. it can fit places a transit can't.
  17. Why don't you use different gloves for different applications? I use rubber palm for climbing, cheap yellow criss cross rubber for ground work and rigging or leather gloves for brambley stuff.
  18. that carving is insane!
  19. I like that alot.
  20. i put a new sprocket cover on one i sold. i made it look 10x better and no doubt increased the 'value' by more than what the cover cost.
  21. Bit of decay!
  22. Is a rear handled saw really the answer to your work positioning problems? If you are having problems with positioning, it's you, not the saw. (no offence, just trying to save you £500)
  23. On 31-Jan-12 at 16:13:01 GMT, seller added the following information: This chainsaw is not a Stihl MS260 to save any confusion. That is the Stihl equivelent with regard to displacement. This saw is a 5200. Thanks
  24. Skin-tight assless chaps?
