haha! I think to boost the economy, the condition of a lower tax for the rich should be that they have to use the spare cash to spend on tree surgeons, gardeners, landscapers etc.

Things are ok for me at the moment. I have been at a new company for 2 weeks and loving every minute of it. Lots of nice gear to play with inc a 12" Schliesing tree muncher! Bought a new (to me) Audi A3 1.8 Turbo (fun ) and i'm currently saving to go to europe for the summer in our campervan, really looking forward to it. I've enjoyed reading this thread, it's a welcome break to all the depressing stuff going on in the world at the moment.

fair enough, i think it's a bit stupid to put it on ebay (in the same country). good for you though as you got it back! did you get a prosecution?

Normally i skip through videos to see highlights, but i actually watched all of this as it was something different and i was interested to see how you would bring it all down safely. A well thought out job. Awesome location aswell!

i don't think it's dodgy. it says cash on collection. normally scammers insist on a courier, won't let you view it and don't have a phone number. stolen chippers don't end up on ebay, they usually get shipped to ireland or poland. innocent until proven guilty i guess

Just becuase something is the most popular and sells the most units, doesn't make it the best (see for example the current top 40 singles..) There are alot of things the iphone will not do because of Apple's stupid operating system (i know as i own one, but once this contract is up i will be getting an android). No flash support, no drag and drop when connected to the computer (bloody itunes ), you can only bluetooth other iphones!, no back button (and i dont mean the home button), there are other reason but it's quite boring. -

ahh! sorry no offense or disrespect intended, you know that. i was merely pointing out that some saws, particularly 200t's tend to go for above market value on ebay, but with the extortionate fee's on both ebay and paypal, it's not quite as simple as that. i really like the idea of arbtrader, there's definitely a 'gap in the market' as such. you should try to market it to a wider audience though, as i looked at the for sale section of the forum when it was about, almost every day, but with arbtrader it's when i remember it's there, which is once a month ish....

If they insisted on a reduction, i would of gone (in first pic) halfway inbetween your head and the top of the crown at the most.

i use imori with mine and it's bloody awesome. not too soft as some have said, although it's down to personal preference.

i have used a hitchclimber/vt for the last 2/3 years and recently bought a SJ. i'm still getting used to it, i'm learning more about it on every climb. accents are awesome with a pulley saver and using hand over hand technique, so no more slack and no more sit back!!

Always list the item so it ends around 7-9pm, when more people are on, also end it on a weeknight.

You'll get alot more on ebay than here, i know that much! I agree with starting at 99p, it will go for just as much as if you put a reserve.
