  2. Have you seen the size of the puff adders hide in the debris under the trees and wait to be trodden on
  3. In South Africa I would be more worried by the black mamba it likes to climb trees and is fast
  4. Adders do like a old tip must be the rodents
  5. I work on a site that has the highest concentration of adders in southern Britain on the right sunny day a brief walk in the right place you will see a dozen, the old boys on site say that they are rare now compared to the 60/70s
  6. 4 in 1 on a 360 I’m not seeing that it’s any use, surely better to have a hydraulic thumb,
  7. Let’s keep it that way
  8. Google mantis ulv there are others
  9. Has anyone tried the hot water/foam based sprayers
  10. When you look at the volume of material going through, the abuse they take and still work and the size of the throat to take material without having to trim, they are heavy enough not to shake themselves to bits and they last. I believe parts although not cheap work out as value for money. You also have a machine that is slow to depreciate.
  11. I’ve got a bandit spares are not cheap but I very rarely buy any they are built like tanks, filters hoses and parts for the engine are easy to get and not expensive
  12. Why not ? Go on go for it
  13. Becoming a arb contractor
  14. Thatcher also use hazel
  15. Found a 900 MM long ish point for a Kango breaker any one interested
  16. best low vibration hydraulic breakers are by Stanley but they are very heavy to lug a Around compared to a electric plus you pay for the fuel customer usually supplies electric free
  17. You can get chisels and points for your kango up to 1m long plenty for most post holes
  18. Racked dumpers weigh heavy compared to a tractortracks are narrow and lack the cleats required for traction
  19. Or dig a deep hole and bury a lorry wheel and tyre then back fill with a trench in the direction of pull.
  20. Are you serious!!!!!! Not a good idea
  21. I use the bosch 16 kg 25mm light works of generator or mains, have a selection of points chisels and a spade with a good pair of hole spades covers most jobs
  22. Japanese imports not supported by iseki, engine parts available as are transmission, don’t carry much but weigh nothing, they almost float, to move logs would need a sledge or very lgp trailer, if used with a mower would need to be balanced. No ce mark if that matters
  23. Yes they are cheap until they go wrong
  24. We still import second hand tractors and diggers from Japan
  25. So dig a trench 1.5m deep between tree and house line it with Terram and back fill with 20mm stone, see what happens, should cost £500/£750 make sure the overlaps are welded with hot air gun/ glue
