  1. My local shell won’t let me fill up with one 20 litre Jerry and Sainsbury are not much better that’s 70 litres there, petrol stations tell me they will loose licence if fill up more than 10 litres
  2. I’d like to know how many have put an 880 away for when they become valuable I think they have caught a cold cause the 881 is so good
  3. Since the incident with the Broggio chain heads hse stated only approved attachments should be used on brush cutter and strimmers , so technically if it is not made by the maker of the machine you shouldn’t use it
  4. I believe ral is 2004
  5. How’s the rake working?
  6. It might run for ten minutes amp hours on the battery are very low
  7. More inclined to say it has advanced terminal necrosis and as such should be removed
  8. Most euro implements would be at the top end of the weight capacity of the mini loaders, you have to have the ability to lift a load and the implement
  9. No euros need adapter
  10. Get one on hire or demo the buckets are not that big on small skidsteer, the worky gets good write up you won’t regret trading labour for machinery. I keep some boards for turning on, skidsteer on wheels still makes a mess of lawns you can’t have too many toys!!
  11. Don’t discount power barrows wheeled or tracked, most little loaders are skid steer so wheels or tracks are not much different on grass I would look to wheels have a look at a kanga , try out as many as you can find look at hydraulic flow the more the better, a lot of the little narrow machines struggle to load a 3.5 truck so you might also need a low trailer
  12. The dozer drivers where I started work never used to fill the drums they said most power was produced on the second layer as got much less as the layer built up and if you pulled on the top layers the pressure deformed the lower layers
  13. I’m now on a charge back scheme, only the end user pays vat, for everyone else we just claim it back each quarter. It’s meant to stop VAT fraud
  14. Let’s throw this into the mix I am well above the threshold for VAT and don’t charge it every three months Mr VAT man sends me a check Happy days a government savings scheme that works
  15. Put three bulk bags on trailer in middle of wheels take it for a spin see what happens
  16. I welded plate to the side of the hooks easier to attach and to stop hook bending under load, looks good
  17. If it’s damp go for crack willow
  18. Have they meet the Chinese very good at ignoring patents !
  19. So how much cable on the drum
  20. Because the law says that employee has to be trained to carry out the operations that you require them to do, you show this with tickets, training register, certificates etc if he has accident and says I was not trained you have problems. As an worker he is covered by the health and saftey at work act which states must have received training might be different in France
  21. From what I have been lead to understand if my labourer / brash dragger was to have an accident whilst towing a trailer at work it is within the powers of the hse to investigate and look for evidence that they have training, so passing the problem etc back to me, the fact that he didn’t need training according to the dvla dosnt mean he didn’t require training to satisfy health and saftey and also my conscience
  22. Look to Europe plenty of rakes for sale fitting to two wheel tractors change front wheels for barrow tyres and your away. Try not to scarify the surface and the machine will keep on slope, steering brakes that work help. Slopes must be dry had a Vogel and noot for many years sent it to scrap man at Easter nobody was interested try to cut with a recip mower the rakes didn’t like working with strimmer arising tended to be to short and balled up
  23. No pressure relief valve?
  24. The dvla don’t have a clue what you have a very good friend of mine applied for his provisional licence in 85 got sent back a full driving licence, he moved house last year sent licence back for name change got sent back just a car licence had to send photo copy of licence to get rest of entitlement
  25. A sabre saw is also called a reciprocating saw very common 18 v tool made by all the tool manufacturers and carried by many thieves. Far smaller than disc cutter or bottles quiet and cuts most materials a disc cutter won’t including multilayers
