  1. Remember all these loaders are made to push and lift, when fitting a winch via the quick hitch you are pulling in the wrong direction they will power winches far larger than is safe, loler, puwer etc I’m not saying don’t do it but be careful take a look at an avant style head stock two bits of 5mm plate and 50 MM 10mm bar hardly a strong fixing
  2. I was going to make a comment but need to check my facts
  3. They have already admitted that the supply isn’t on the drawings as a single domestic supply they have no right to cross a private garden or to remove trees from the garden my neighbour wants to build a garage where the power crosses his land he’s given notice to uk power to remove the overheads within 6 months they apparently have to move them it would be different if the same cable fed is house then it stays
  4. My supply comes to my house via two neighbours gardens one has requested removal of the supply it’s going to cost uk power networks over 40k to reroute less than 50 metres of supply and they can’t say no
  5. Forget wayleave and easements if it a domestic supply cable tell them to remove
  6. If the cable is not supplying your property or outbuilding with no wayleave ( it’s unusual to wayleave above ground you have every right to give them notice to remove the cable at there expense
  7. What I was trying to say
  8. Make sure of your facts, if you have been trading from home for I think 5 years without a complaint your can carry on by default
  9. Work out your facts 1 how long have you lived in house 2 how old is the business 3 how long have you parked vehicles at your house 4 do you rent or own / mortgage 5 can you prove you have a yard there are time limits for the council to act but I’m not sure how long do your employees/ subs come to your house each morning I had similar problems parking tractor on drive council turned up not much they could do however check your deeds as parking vans etc could be not allowed
  10. Once you have bought into a battery system it’s expensive to change would look at all the tools you will always want another one
  11. Parsnips are the same family of plants as cow parsley etc most umbellifers can cause a reaction if sap, skin and sunlight all come into contact, light skinned people are usually more prone,
  12. Hogweed and nettle sap will give you a nasty rash
  13. Have a look at the Klou grinder better price than avant do very well made
  14. They are American stats 450 under 14s cut with a saw says it all
  15. Had a l200 and a defender at same time defender was better on fuel unless fully loaded with trailer
  16. Insurers usually repair first, I’ve seen repairs done on some very expensive astroturf pitches and you couldn’t see where they had been, far more damage than you have, however if you accept repair and it’s not up-to standard then you get a new surface. I would get your own quotes for repair and renewal, but give the arborist to get there own quotes.you might end up claiming on your own insurance and letting them chase payment
  17. Bought a paslode when they first came over here struggled with it for a few years till working on a sound fence along side a12, the other contractor made me look stupid he had air coil and straight nailers 50 MM to 150mm he had full head nails,he was twice my speed, long airlines only moved compressor three times a day the air nailer were quicker far more powerful lighter and didn’t need servicing they also worked in the pouring rain and you didn’t have to walk around with gas canisters in your pants to keep then warm enough to work.
  18. You can stitch and glue much the same as they repair carpets, usually they repair first then if not acceptable replace, invisible repairs are an art and require great skill
  19. Our mk7 transit double cab with three guys and tools and a tipping body went 3320kg leaving the yard
  20. If you go for the double cab you will be overweight before leaving the yard
  21. You can get gas nailer for stock fencing, go air coil nailer for close board faster cheaper and far more reliable than gas or battery
  22. What would be the chance of getting one to look after my log pile?
  23. Technically I think that’s a crocodile wrong shape nose for a gator and I think wrong continent but I’m not good with accents
  24. And I thought I had problems on site with the log fairies
