  1. Could you describe the pile as codwood!
  2. Black walnut very expensive !!!!
  3. Got a new van what inverters are you using or recommend mainly for charging batteries but maybe occasional use of a small angle grinder
  4. Steel road plates and a contract lift and a disclaimer from the client could be a whole world of trouble
  5. No due to the shape of the nut they ride up as you increase the pressure
  6. The thought of you forgetting to disarm is already making me smile
  7. The only person they will get is you at some point you will forget to disarm
  8. We have found two doors of different materials make life very challenging, but simple to do and buy you a lot of time for your security systems to work
  9. Like it don’t make it too obvious too much security is as much of a magnet as too little two cameras would be better you have a house next door so make then make noise or have to take time they will go elsewhere
  10. If we are going home alone style seal up scaffold tubes then fill with old engine oil stops a grinder and oxy everytime
  11. What you do needs to be multi layer and subtle personally I would go for a lock box with the hinges shielded by thick steel then another door immediately inside heavy steel mesh and plywood that would give you time especially if the alarm was between the two doors then chains wheel clamps etc
  12. Lock boxes with multi layers of plate make life difficult for both grinders and oxy
  13. Portable oxy will make short work of it one cut through 40 MM of steel and your in
  14. You forgot multi stems are usually full of crap at the bottom
  15. Tried them still use drill and separate tap very brittle and won’t drill and tap much above 4mm thick
  16. Use a wire rope and duckbill anchor tension anchor and forget collect anchor once trunk has rotted have used them on river banks to stop logs floating of
  17. Don’t forget to give the tree a good prune to compensate for the root loss may be 30% of the branches, cut back some of the longer branches. Put some good soil in the pit I would use three guy ropes and make sure it’s well watered when you plant it to wash fines round the roots then keep well watered during the summer, if you can get a dustbin / wheelbarrow sized rootball or bigger it will have a good chance
  18. I believe that your only allowed to use approved accessories so if it isn’t made by the manufacturer you can’t use it. Look at the notices about the broggio cutting heads on clearing saws
  19. Having had experience of a HSE investigation if you kept your mouth shut they wouldn’t know if the saw was altered they only look for chain catcher, chain break, stop switch maintenance records, training and issued and signed for PPE they didn’t even start or run the saw. Personally I think I could have shown him a disc cutter and he would have been none the wiser
  20. dumper

    Grass seed

If your lawn is wet/ damp I would use sharp sand as a top dressing to get better drainage fork it in having first raked the lawn till it’s brown bit of slow release fertiliser and some seed, try to level with a lute or if big enough use a pallet don’t roll
  21. Does anyone know how fast a chain contacts after being used and buy how much it obviously is dependant on chain temp and atmospheric temp differences ? how long do you have between stopping cutting and saw bar damage?
  22. But wrong hertz is it soft start?
  23. Slightly different approach what is to stop you pollarding the poplar and reducing the leylandi hedge buy 50 to 75 % then felling less than 5 m3 each quarter till your done
  24. Yours are for a vehicle over 3.5 tonnes mam, under this no operators licence and tacho only when weight exceeds 3.5 tonnes ie towing, do you use tacho in your transit/ hilux?
  25. It’s been a very long day!!
