  11. Changing to hammers will require new lugs I found out the hard way, best flail I have used was converted twose hedge flail would cut anything with a good selection of flails very much regretted selling
  12. You won’t know till you try the results can be surprising
  13. I would remove and start again always going to have problems and will never make a good tree
  14. Look at the front of your mower, most loader flails are reverse mounted tractor designs, and the leading edge is too low for the foreward speed think how a forestry mulcher looks also look at rotation grass cuts better upwards with a sharp edge
  15. The benefit of a loader flail is that it’s in the right place in front, I have damaged many compacts cutting dense vegetation with rear mounts, so many I bought a carraro reverse drive, now that is a proper compact no bigger than your kubota with 50 hp at the pto full bank ability, front and rear linkage. And bloody uncomfortable to drive if taller than five foot eight i have no problems flailing with my loader different pumps for motors and drive, I find the problems come with presentation of material to the flail or flail choice to match material
  16. Talk to Klou they make their flails and motors to suit the hydraulic output of your loader

  21. I worked for a large earthmover when tenders came in we used to look for the mistakes items where they had got the numbers wrong ie too much or too little in the bill of quantities then price accordingly items they had over estimated we priced low and underestimations high and sometimes very high but due too the under estimate on quantity made little difference to the final tender price but massive difference too the final account. On an airport job we priced under the expected cost knowing full well they had made a mistake and we could take them to the cleaners on final account and did
