  1. Battery lasts about 5 mins use
  2. Don’t fall into the trap of pricing to win the work, put in a rate you are comfortable with always add a little bit more if someone wants to do it cheap let them, 5 months work you will have more than one unproductive day ignore the guide price could be years out of date
  3. Yep salt in the air not concentrated solution
  4. Test a soil sample for salt
  5. Might be idea to give an idea of location
  6. Yes but not giant hogweed stems are green and leaves more pinnate
  7. The ability to fell a tree efficiently with axe and cross cut saw is gained over many years, I was shown how by a very skilled patience man 40years ago I did it for a bet and lost big I learnt an awful lot that day and now would very much like to go back to thank him but too much time has passed.
  8. To extend this to a logical conclusion only oem bars and chain on saws, the belt on your trousers to be by the manufacture. Oregon and rob d would be out of business you would only be able to use Stihl oil in your saw I have found the insurers are more interested in records and paperwork than where parts are from
  9. Local trailer dealer will make these to length and fit the correct end much cheaper than oem
  10. At what pressure?

    Defender 130

Speak to bfg run my 130 at 70psi on 750x16 xzl
  12. Don’t forget to use stainless fixings marine grade if you don’t want stains, might look good with dowels
  13. Found they both work but the blec has a better finish and dosnt bounce as much on hard ground both benefit from the ground being well ripped before burying
  14. Cool well maybe but a waste of time if not upgraded to hgv Carries virtually nothing and costs a fortune to run for no real benefit
  15. You will be astounded how much branch volume comes out of the trees and how little you can get into your car!
  16. The law I believe says training so for my tracked loader we had a local cscs/npors trainer out for the day having previously sent him the manual and showed him how it worked with forks ,bucket skip etc they then gave me certificate of training. There is no approved course for chariot style loaders tracked or wheeled but I’m sure someone needing money will come up with one technically you can do it yourself
  17. I first started work in a large earth moving company, when we won a job the first thing the contracts director did was to look hard at the price to see where we had gone wrong it was very easy to underprice the big jobs he liked the small works big kit + small job = good profit
  18. Ignore his quote, get couple of others staged reductions are very old news, you will need to allow for the drive to be dug out to remove the large roots
  19. The costs of designing and constructing your extension to allow the tree to stay are far more than the cost to replant a semi mature tree much further away from the house, the tree is already too close and will suffer from the continuous pruning required to keep it from damaging the house if it’s the colour of leaf you like maybe look at a purple plum planted further away
  20. Had some success with a pressure washer then overspray with colour to blend in
  21. And Russian vine
  22. I will offer you with bindweed
  23. You still here!!!!!!
  24. By being cheaper!!
