  1. Trim hedge properly.??? Cutting the same area many times undercutting the sides , is this a hedge looks like a single shrub to me pruned in the tesco style, I see ppe is optional, traveling style! Just what do you learn from this ? Did I miss something?

  3. Hand cutting is a skill and needs time to master it will also wreak your body, are there any 65 year old hand cutters? And you don’t even earn enough to buy a house and pay into a mortgage plus needing a whole pile of expensive tickets and equipment , why would you?

Most sheet companies will size the sheets to your roof so 1 piece top to bottom you can get insulation bonded to the underside you can have the ridge folded to any size you need so go oversize and the then use foam fillers stuck with mastic to stop water blowing under a run of mastic along the drip line will stop run back and maybe go oversize on the gutter,, a line of felt along the bottom of the sheet will also help, if you use sheet make sure you drill through the ridge carefully not to crush the profile might be worth covering roof with ply or sterling board to give more support to the sheets

  20. I think Robinia, you can’t leave this tree so close to the building something has to go building or tree it’s your decision, however as the tree has poor form and is already mishapen I would remove the tree, and kill the stump it will sucker and regrow given half a chance.
