  3. Hi how much are three man teams earning everyday doing power line clearance work ? On average. me and my employees are doing our UA tickets with the hope of doing some work for ground control we’re based in lincolnshire. Thought id get some honest answers from you guys thanks
  4. Thanks for the replys, maybe abit more reading and re-search is needed before buying anything. wasnt sure a small deisel power pack would have enough power to operate a log splitter this big what do you think gareth ? thanks
  5. Hi i have a large log splitter that i have been running on a 855 international tractor. And its been working well. i have since loat the use of that tractor and i would like to get it working on my david brown 900. the hydraulic pump on the david brown would not be powerfull enough to power the log splitter. so im going to get a hydraulic pump to go on the pto, fit a tank for the oil and hopefully that should work well. im just after some advise on where i can get a small tank and a pto hydraulic pump. Ive been looking on ebay but im not sure which ones to get. if anyone has any pictures of there setups that would be great. any help would be much appreciated thanks
  6. Thanks for the replys, still struggling to get the bottom pulley. I shall keep trying
  7. Ive owned my rayco for about 2-3years great cheap stump grinder. For about a year the grinding wheel has been slowly moving to the left of the shaft, got to the point where you couldnt put left finger teeth on, otherwise they would catch on the casing. i ran it for about 3months with just straight teeth. However it doesnt grind like it used to (obviously). so ive decided to take it apart and move the wheel back to the middle of the shaft and replace both bottom bearings while im at it. im struggling to take this pulley (in the picture) off of the shaft, assume its a tapered fit. however i dont want to start smashing it with a hammer just yet. Can anyone help me out ? thanks
  8. Ive got a Timberwolf 150dhb 2008 tried replacing the bearings a few days ago but now i think there on there way out again. would like to get a professional to fix it this time. Does anyone know any workshops dealers ect that i can get some quotes from to do the work. Based in market rasen, lincolnshire but dont mind travelling. thanks
  9. ive recently purchased a early 150 vtr that has been abused, the wiring is like a birds nest. its an early model 2003 with the speed sensor for the no stress system not the control box. cant seem to find a manual for one this early or any wiring diagrams. im after the two wiring looms for the hopper control box and for the red bar stop switch, that connect to the main engine loom. the main plug has 4 pins where as the newer 150's have a 6 pin plug. any help would be much appreciated thanks Jake
  10. hi does anyone have a link to the timberwolf 150dhb manual with torque specs on it. or have a list of torque settings ? im replacing the bearings and fins at the moment and would be handy if i could find out how tight everything should be, otherwise all the bolts will be FT! thanks Jake.
  11. incase any one is wondering, there is a switch which adjusts the basket level. on the plug in switch panel. thanks
  12. hi guys hoping some of you can help ive owned my defender mewp for about a year and had no issues with it up till now. i recently fitted new rear springs to it due to the old ones sagging. not sure if this is related to my issue but thought id mention it. when the boom is lowered (for transportation) the basket doesnt sit level anymore, instead it leans back. when in use the self levelling system works as normal. there is no basket tilt function on the gardner denver 135. and i havent been able to find any electrical sensors for the basket leveling system. not sure if the basket level needs resetting due to the new springs making it sit abit higher at the back or what. im hoping one of you might have had the same problem and might be able to help me out thanks in advance
