  1. It's a lovely looking beast mate, got a soft spot for these.
  2. Bloody good grinder mate.
  3. Trailer light couplings, my pet hate.
  4. You are too 'modest' Eggs, pushing that bloody scooter home every time it spits its dummy would be a lot more like hard work:001_tongue:
  5. Great advice there.
  6. Enjoy your trip down south mate, hmm, got me thinking, I love potato salad, going to get some in the morning & crack black pepper on it! Yummmy!
  7. Why don't we back off & let the guy do his best, sure he's made mistakes, but let those willing to help do so, & those who are not interested why not just stay out of it. There, that's better!
  8. I can vouch for Tom as a very helpful man to talk to, & great hire firm, we last used one of his machines a few weeks ago, stunning machine, & he provided ground mats as the terrain was to be undisturbed. I have used Tom's machines for some years, never had any glitches, just a good versatile company to work with. Here is a link; Boom lifts, cherry pickers, scissor lifts of all types for hire from Cannon Access
  9. Ok mate, got your message, I will hold a load on next week & give you a call in advance to deliver.
  10. All good, if you don't get sorted out let me know here. If by any chance you had the ability to pick up the chip, I have a small mountain in Hatfield Peverel, & you could take what you want.
  11. Some one else will probably pop up on here soon, but I could do some in the next week or two when I'm in area, if you get stuck, or don't mind a small wait, pm me your telephone number& I will call to arrange delivery, no charge.
  12. If in doubt hire a small amount of scaffolding & board it out.
  13. Great find, I have an old Jobu chainsaw, it has lugs on it so you can convert it to an outboard boat engine...versatility!
  14. Might well be cheaper for you if you keep the timber, especially if it is a distance from tree to truck. Get a few quotes, & do make sure insurances are in place, either by checking the paper copy, or as a lot of these documents are now in PDF format, via email. Whilst there may be room to fell the tree, bear in mind an arborist may wish to climb & dismantle part of the tree at least to prevent ground damage, & facilitate the fell direction. This is something to consider when getting your quotes, as it can affect price, & value for money from your perspective.
  15. Well, it could do with a chain oiler, other than that, highly comendable, I wonder what the chain speed works out at, probably 100m/s so my hiflex trousers would need upgrading...

    Jokes???

  17. Us athletic old boys just clambered down mate! But I was first on the deck!
  18. He has listed the same hedge in 6 separate listings, how can you sell a single item 6 times??
  19. Ah, but do you make her a cuppa when she is cooking your dinner etc.. Mind you, my old wifes cooking deserved an asbo, not a reward!
  20. Pleased for you Lee, I hope your new life is very rewarding.
  21. The C Scopes are good detectors, the one mentioned in all metal setting will get a nail at 7 or 8 inches.
  22. Great news, hope all is well.
  23. Delusional, reality check in order methinks, if this is the general opinion of the pro independence lot they are in for a shock if they win.
  24. Surely if the saw is stolen, & Honey Bros will have the saw details, the highest bidder will not be liable to pay, as it's stolen goods.
