I had similar backstabbing from the mother of my stepdaughter Adam,(sounds a bit complex)! hurt like hell, couldn't see her for two years, as I say it's sorted now on seeing her, (she is 19 now so makes her own way), but it used to boil my P!22 some of the things she was told to try & alienate me. Thing is, now she is her own woman, she sees it for what it was, & i get no discredit from the wife's poison.

That's harsh on you Adam, & must hurt bad. My situation is so very different, I'm a step dad, since 'my' daughter was 2, the natural father just turned his back on his child & his front at the pub door, I have tried gently for 17 years to help him see his daughter, & he just resents me with a vengence, gets drunk every day & contributes nothing at all in any area to child, just cries in his beer, no contact at all. Takes all sorts, & I think from my perspective, the child is better off for having me around. Taking on someone else's kids is not always an easy path, & takes a certain type to do it right.

You will be on here for life if your not careful Alec, It breaks up marriages, has you in fits of laughter, crying, angry, a couple of people have been hanged for heresy too, but always a good read & source of info.

That's a sad situation for anyone, I have been there too, for a couple of years, then I got it sorted out. parents that deprive their ex from seeing the kids, anytime, are bang out of order if it is for personal reasons.

First aid would be good, full driving licence with ability to tow, maybe a chipper cert. Just noticed, it's your first post, so welcome to Arbtalk Alec, you can learn lots on here, it's a good place for you to be.

Been round to see my father, pretty much caring for him recently, bless him. Might not get to hear from my daughter, she is more interested in her new boyfriend than her old dad, bl**dy teenagers! A thought goes out from me to Little Green Woodchopper today

Get a good fence round it, try to find out the culprit & warn them off. Despicable behaviour. you could pop some flyers into the local houses explaining what has happened, asking the residents to keep an eye out & offering a reward for info, I bet the perp moaned about the tree before taking this action.

If you mean the 350tes as the old one, the motor is slightly uprated, the chainbrake handle is mounted at both sides, the left grab handle is downwards rather than sweeping back, 14" bar, & an adjusting block can be swapped over for palm support on the top handle. Other than that you will have to look at the specs, basically it feels a stronger saw to me.

No mate, ask away, that's one of the virtues of Arbtalk, getting info & advice. Don't let anything detract from that or we all lose out. My penny's worth, as a non owner of a trolley, I should have got one ages ago for the domestic jobs with a long drag/ logwood removal, they speed up productivity, save a lot of labour & mess. What other trade would consider it viable to hand haul all that waste by hand!

That does not surprise me one bit mate, mine is fresh, & yet has an impressive output, way above what I expected, thing is the motor seems to be keen to please,glitch free, & running on a good carb, how refreshing!

Oh, another good point, as said, the build quality is second to none, & the lanyard clip is bombproof, the best I have seen which is refreshing!

I have put two tanks of Aspen through my 360tes, it seems a good saw, plenty of power, clean running etc, I like the balance too. Only small gripes: fuel filler hole is fairly small compared to a Stihl, I would like the kill switch to be 'off' when pushed towards the bar, rather than having to be pulled towards the operator, & think it could do with a more aggressive chain on it, but mine is running a 14 inch bar with no problems, I'm going to get hold of RobD & see if a nice pointy bar & chain can be supplied for it in 12 inch, similar to the shape of the ms150t bar in shape, as it would be great for light pruning too. The saw is still tight & new, but is a little screamer, very promicing indeed!

Nice thought of you mate, but she was probably shook up & frightened from the harassment she got earlier, I would have gone & sat with her when it was happening,but easy said in hindsight,you showed kindness.
