Yep,sure is, you get what you pay for.
  4. Just support a uk dealer, you won't be too much more expensive, & you will have less hassle, a warranty, etc...and uk dealers still here in years to come, getting that will be penny pinching to cut your own throat, imo.
  5. Here is the link to his website, give him a call if you are confused, he will sort you out. Chainsawbars ? chainsaw chains, chainsaw bars and chainsaw accessories
  6. You can't do better than talking to Rob D of Chainsaw Bars, he will sort you out pronto, & is a top fella with it.
  7. I'm surprised it got that bad & still ran!
  8. I found that interesting Paul.
  9. The 360 is the one for general tree work, the little one is a fine light pruning saw, like the Stihl 150 once tuned. I got a carving bar for mine from Rob D, & it is lovely on the 360!
  10. If stood for a while I would put a few ml of light oil down the plug hole, let it sit, then turn it over to coat the bore, then give it a go after checking the fuel & spark systems are good.
  11. I'm sorry to hear that mate, we had a spate of it round here too.
  12. Get yourself sorted out mate, asap, not something to take lightly.
  13. Yes it's a lovely place, he's a good man too, level head, not too big headed, & he has a few great mates, but watch out for his cat!
  14. If you get stuck try Felixthechopper, he has one in Fryerning, it's 5 minutes off a12 shenfied junction.
  15. It's a no brainer, you must let them know, & to hide your knowledge would be vindictive at worst, dishonest at best. Maintain your own standards, & let others look after theirs, your environment will be a better place for it.
  16. That must have been terrible, its gone completely!
  17. Well I beg to differ, having actually owned a few Echo's over the years, looks can be deceiving sir, & beauty in the eye of the beholder. They are cost effective, yes, 2 year pro warranty, well thought out, strong plastics, smooth & reliable motors, & dare I say it, Jap built. So what is your personal & professional experience with them Troll, if I may ask?
  18. Cheers me old mate!
  19. That's a really lovely looking cake:thumbup1: & Jon, if you want a cake made why not go for a 'big butt cake'!
  20. The echo is a good high quality saw, better built that the others imo, & cheaper. wack one of Rob D's carving bars on & you have a superb bit of kit, nothing wrong with the stock bar, but it is bull nosed & has a safety chain. The saw can be hotted up very easily. Sexy! 002 by geoff321, on Flickr
  21. Well yes it is expensive, but what price your health, especially long term, hand tools are fine..to a point, then the saws have to come out, & hedges...well I rest my case!
  22. That's pretty cool, I like it!
  23. That's good advice from Stubby.
  24. Good man, enjoy!
