  1. :biggrin:Kept me up too... I think our man's gone to bed,he's ofline!
  2. I just leave it on my main line, once I have my top anchor set with it I use a 10m rope & grigri for work position,or a steel core flipline. That does me for most climbs. Descending & limbwalking with the sj is great I find, but it took me a while to get confidence in it.
  3. Lovely colour in the firs pic,wow factor wood.
  4. Saw stuck on a hung up small fell ,pole pulled off & end dropped onto the bar tip?
  5. They give me a nasty reaction, have to use the epipen & get help after, bless em!
  6. Have you had a play with a spiderjack Spike,if so wondered how you found it compared to the lockjack.
  7. Cool vid,skilled man.
  8. Agree or not with Daniel's vids & techniques,I find the (for want of a better way of putting it) P%ss taking posts that pop up now & then,(as above),very offensive,to the extent that my peacefull demeaner would desert me,make your point, fine, but ganging up to discredit is pathetic, you know who you are. My point made I shall sit back, but leave me out of the insults I urge.

  10. A lot of normal inocent hard working people died that day, with no chance of a fight to survive, from many nationalities, very sad,and emphasisis the cruelty of any form of conflict.
  11. Yep,& I try to get a rope or two into a good high limb to tie back to a third party anchor.
  12. Bit of Iron in those buttresses, hope you missed it.
  13. This sort of thing chills me,needed a bit of down time so did this; 027 by geoff321, on Flickr
  14. !4 stone,or a few pounds less at just under 6 foot.
  15. You win some , you lose some, isn't that how it goes, stay on side & you never know, you might win some.
  16. Seems like some folk do.....either that or trying to add fuel to the fire. This thread seems to have got daft in my opinion. I will say from my perspective, like the teacher('s) or not,you are entrusting your kids to them to do the best they can with the resources & controls they are allowed, you have no choice in that if you want them educated & developed into individuals. Best work with the schools & staff to achieve the best rather than against them,& explain to your kids why certain 'unfair' rules are in place,a good lesson to learn...'sometimes being right does not mean you can do it',thats being part of modern society for you.
