  1. Might be something in that,no harm in a drop of paint on the wheelnut/wheel as a quick visual.
  2. Clean up the wheels & hubs where they make contact, ensure the threads on wheelnuts & studs are good,& torque them up with a dab of loctite or similar. Just a thought.
  3. Tescos are to stop selling these burgers it has been anounced, they withdrew the range as it is felt that they were flogging a dead horse.
  4. Couple of pics...

    Jokes???

I had a tesco burger a week ago, still got a bit in my teeth...
  7. Seems like its a good idea to wash the sore area a few times a day,can help stop it spreading.
  8. Calamine lotion is recomended for the burning to your skin, but that wont help if its in your mouth, for that you could try a mild pepermint chew,or lozenge. Hope you recover asap.
  9. I run the little echo,& for light work,(same as the Makita),its a lovely little saw,& is a few years old with no trouble, but the blue saw is ok too I think. Me,it would be the echo.
  10. Me too. Thats a tough knock for the local tree firms,I have lost then regained such contracts, way of the world nowadays, unfortunately.
  11. Absolutely, most of us running a small firm will positively recomend buying kit from the cheapest dealer on line, rather than go to our local supliers. So to criticise out of town arb companies getting 'our' local contracts is a bit like the pot calling the kettle. It is the way we do business nowadays,& its mostly about money.
  12. Very sad,such a lovely looking dog.
  13. A big thanks for the service in replacing the bearings in my tw125 main rotor shaft bearing assembly,I provided the bearings, cups etc,& they fitted the whole lot at the Braintree depot, for the grand sum of £260. Thats a great price imo,(it was on an hourly rate),the parts came to about £130. Very fast service too.
  14. Great views from the garden!
  15. Looks very good Spike, nice & concise with a family run tone to it.
  16. That seems to have cleaned it up Steve, lightning fast again so far.
  17. Still playing up here, seems fine for a few minutes, then freezes up & have to recover the web page through windows.
  18. Looks ideal,I could use this for a few jobs, thanks for the tip.
  19. Mines a single cab,but they are cracking vehicles apart from a limited tool space,I intend to fully cover my tipbody so the tools can go in on top of the chip & out of the rain,as at the moment its only half done. landy arb tipper by geoff321, on Flickr
  20. Never good to see honest hard working people caught like this,& thank you for the heads up.
  21. Try putting the bait in a bit of the wifes stocking, drill the trap plate & tie the stocking ball to it,they will set it off then.

    Jokes???

I recently spent $2,500 on a young Black Angus bull. I put him out with the herd but he just ate grass and wouldn't even look at a cow. I was beginning to suspect he was gay, if that's possible with a bull. Anyhow, I had the Vet come have a look at him. He said the bull was very healthy, but possibly a little young, so he gave me some pills to feed him once per day Holy crap. The bull started to service the cows within two days. All of my cows! He even broke through the fence and bred all my neighbor's cows! He's been breeding just about everything in sight. He's like a machine!" I don't know what in hell was in the pills the Vet gave him, but they kinda taste like peppermint.
  23. Thanks mate, miss my dirt bikes, might have to get another! Done some more work on the little bobber now my new welder is up & running, the silencer is just mocked up,but I like it so its going on! IMG_1406 by geoff321, on Flickr
  24. Thats a most distressing thing to happen, wish you every luck in finding your dog,& much as its out of my area will keep an open eye.
