  5. Hi & welcome on board. Its a very comprehensively usefull forum, with a liberal smattering of banter running through, sure you will find Arbtalk gets you hooked!
  6. Nice xt sm. Ive had the 250,350,old 500,& the 550,took that one through the alps & pyranees, mate still has it & wont sell it back!

  8. Hi mate,if I remember right your using an ms260,they go on for years with a bit of care, could easy last you 15 years or more the amount you are using it.

  13. I love it,you just cant do right for wrong sometimes...
  14. Ahh, we will let you off this time then!
  15. Well it was particularly corny...maybe thats it.
  16. Wish I had never sold it Chris,it was a lovely bike, plenty of mid range,& it reved out well, not a pokey as the modern stuff, but for trail & the odd enduro it was a lovely little bike. No starting problems on my one,& they barely sip the petrol, just change the oil lots with good quality stuff.
  17. Nice looking pup! If you want security you need my old & funky Jack Russell, his reputation goes before him, savage, sharp, explosive, & at least one ear cocked at all times, day or night. He is not 'trouble free', but at twelve to thirteen years old at least he will only torment you for another 3 to four years before he selflessly pops his clogs. Do you a swap!!!
  18. Thats nice,I love a little weld project,I can only use stick & mig so far,(used these for years),its a very usefull ability to have. I wonder how many of us arb types make & mend, well worth getting familiar with basic welding & fabricating skills in our line of work. Maybe we should have a welding specific thread, help people get the right kit,(it's a minefield for a newby not to end up with a bad quality welding machine). Also a bad weld can be the cause of all sorts of nightmares, just a thought.
  19. Massive drool here,Had the 250,the 600 & the water cooled 650(HM racing tuned,stage 3). I would love to have the 400 as a keeper,a fantastic fun bike! I want one!
  20. Give it a while, sure someone will pop up who has used one, looks a useful little machine on the face of it for small jobs / tight access.
  21. Trust you Felix!
  22. Get a good one & they are big bang for the bucks, good solid motors, reasonable spares,& off road they are what every other 4x4 aspires ( Jimneys aside) to be.
  23. Spike, your pm box is full up mate:001_rolleyes:
  24. Thats a cracking price,thanks!
  25. I got mine insured for £530,I'm over 50 years young,& have a 10 year ncb. Looking for landy tipper insurance is tough,& expensive. So apart from nfu, trust, and A.Flux, who are we finding to be reasonable, anyone add to the list? Thanks up front!
