  1. If you ignore the style of the human subjects' clothes and hair, they could have been taken yesterday. Considering their age, they're amazing quality. It just shows that you don't need a modern high spec' camera to take good pics
  2. Well if you will insist on living in the Godforsaken wastelands of Oop Norf...
  3. That sounds fantastic The only times I ever remember about it are when the weather's. How typical is that???
  4. There are two more dates in the summer seminar series coming up from the lovely people at Barchams. The first is, unfortunately, fully booked now Dr Glynn Percival - 9th August 2011 | Barcham Trees But I bagged me a place on the second Seminar with Peter MacDonagh - 6th September 2011 | Barcham Trees
  5. A good reminder for this year's Perseids. Ta

    Litterbugs

:laugh1: I have no issues with people who use drugs, from cider to smack. That kind of behaviour is disgusting though, and on so many levels.

You can ride whatever you like, my dear. I was refering to delabodge on his 1200 Bandit motorbike

    Litterbugs

Dirty. Disrespectful. Ignorant. Lazy. These peope are obviously too stupid to realise that the money being spent on their filth could be going to far better uses. Grrrr... I won't say anything to litter droppers anymore though, after one particularly nasty incident that left me feeling quite intimidated and abused. I'll leave that to big blokes on Bandits from now on
  9. You so need to change your dealer! As above, it's definately a Medlar. It's a really pretty small tree in the Rose family with large white flowers and supposedly ediblr fruits. However, anything that has to be bletted before it's considered edible I'll give a miss, thanks.

    Tree creeper

It would excite me I remember seeing it when you posted it before. They, however, would probably treat a mere waxwing with disdain. LoL. They're lifelong, sleep in bus shelters, drive all night, three months abroad at a time etc type birders.

I just have a general interest in natural history and what I see around me. Plus, I've spent the past two months working with three seriously hardcore birding freaks. I think I've been brainwashed...

Amazing little birds, with their backward pointing toes and the way they use their tale as a prop.
  13. What does the British Standard for specifying trees mean? | Barcham Trees
  14. Twice as long as a piece half it's length. Now get yourself outside and away from the PC and enjoy a beautiful Sunday
  15. I take it that you've already booked your place the T ? It looks like a really good line up (ha, that makes it sound like a rock gig!) and a bargain at that price.
  16. What 'phone are you using for the photos - your Galaxy? You're getting some very good pics from it I've been on golf courses for the past couple of weeks and it's been a bit of a wildlife wasteland . I did manage a bit of voyeurism with some Gatekeeper porn though.
  17. I'm going to risk being repetative and ditto the Q rubra.
  18. WTF??? I think that deserves a prize in itself Erm, a genuine bargain on fleabay?
  19. Is this for the bone graft? You know we'll all be thinking of you and wishing you the best
