Warm and wet in west cornwall.
  4. I love the irony that the video was made by a user with the name demoexpert84...
  5. Just caught the closing credits of this show. Next week it is in British columbia driving logging rigs. Cant say whether it iwll be any good as i havent seen any of it, but it looks like it may be interesting.
  6. I think you are doing an excellent Job.
  7. vermeer are extortionate for parts......
  8. The astra vans are brilliant.
  9. I cannot agree more. Woodmizer are grosly overrated and over priced, for all the reasons listed by J, but above all the poor quality of cut.
  10. The golf club will pobably buy the balls back off you. Did some work next to a golf club recently and we found loads. We later found out they pay 50p a ball if they are clean and undamaged.
  11. You could use veg oil in your chainsaw with mushroom spores in it- such as oyster and shiitake too. FWIW I have limited experience in ancient woodland management, but the little i have had was largely the removal of sycamore from predominantly oak woodland.
  12. NIce Job there. Really smart fabricating/ welding. I like the hingw for the numberplate idea. BTW I passed you twice today on the wadebridge bypass. I was i a LWB transit pick up towing a small greenmech chipper! (not my rig, i was climbing for someone).
  13. No its not flies, its ground up mancunian homeless people:laugh1:.........I dont know any cornishmen who eat ginsters.....
  14. Wow thats pretty scsry! Glad you're okay!
  15. The three spikes (which should be T shaped if you look down the length of them) are VERY VERY effective ground anchors. I made my own, and they have saved my bacon a few times, whilst loaded right up to the gills and towing a chipper. Dont be too hasty to write them off.
  16. Exactly, and FTR marlow ropes are hideous.
  17. Good stuff. I would love to know how to splice, and it looks like this may be a good place to start. Top marks again MrB.
  18. Well said Andy. Surely none of us are truly so ignorant to believe that if all benefits were stopped today that we would have a better standard of living or less tax to pay?????? Get real lads, they would p1ss it away on something like bank bail outs, or phoney warmongering. I say let the benefits system stand- none of us would see any difference if it was taken away except for even more crime and drug abuse.
