  1. You can hit taxus pretty hard and they respond well.
  2. tree_beard basically sums it up. I have used 190s and compered to jensens I have use and my old 935i they dont come close enough in build quality or ease of maintainance or longevity or ease of use to consider it as the best make of machine. Its what I said- you buy a cheaper machine and you get what i see as these 'issues'.
  3. Stunning Matt. I definitely miss the dorset countryside, esp that part of it having grown up around there. I was at prep school in Gaunts House before it became a retreat. Stunning countryside.
  4. Aaaah right i get it now. Doh!
  5. Its the 132 birthday of the JWs this year isnt it? I think they were invented in 1881 werent they Dave?
  6. Exactly. and one is a VT and the other is the MT knot.
  7. Good girl, and Happy Birthday. As above though, dont waste your money on a LOLER test for 6 months.
  8. Yeah the skywalker can replace the hitchclimber pulley. (BTW I think that you are technically tying a machard tresse using an eye to eye friction cord as opposed to a length with fishermans tied each end.)
  9. Very very nice indeed. Keep us updated please!
  10. Haha hilarious! Yes, woodland scenics are quite big in the model railway world, but like everything model related they are very expensive, albeit of very high quality.
  11. Its an ok budget machine. Its no 19-28, and a long way behind anything like a jensen, vermeer bandit schleising, but then again you get what you pay for in life i suppose.
  12. Dont burn it. Plane is one of the most stunning timbers out there. See if a mill would be interested. If I was nearer I would definitely have it off you, even though i am selling my mill!!
  13. If you are using alot then it would be well worth it. If you are getting softwood in then even better.
  14. AFAIK th FC are no more, and have no timber sales either, but I could be wrong. I use euroforest for larch sawlog supplies, but UPM tilhill can supply too. I am sure there are others but they are the 2 biggies that can supply to cornwall. Its sold by the cubic metre not the tonne BTW.
  15. Employment law wont allow it anymore anyway I think. If you employ someone full time they have to be on your books.
  16. So.......employed then? If its full time they will need to be on your books PAYE AFAIK.
  17. No no no you're mistaken Tristan....its all okay as 'the top had gone'
