  1. Cool video Reg hope things are working out for you
  2. Nice vid mate cheers for posting
  3. petzl sequoia not sure which version though
  4. Blaze is good milks alot though as do most yale products, Velocity is slightly lighter, 11mm maybe slightly to thin for some people especially if they are used to a larger rope, Yale imori 12mm, new england tachyon and yales range of 11.7mm ropes are very popular its all down to personal preference. Heavy ropes will help pull itself through the spiderjack as it will self tend sooner due to the larger weight pulling the line through the cam (or is it clutch) of the spiderjack as you pull hand overhand
  5. Another awesome video from Joe
  6. All well and good having a long battery life but how long does the chain oil last? One of the most taken for granted designs with modern saws is the fact the oil lasts longer than the petrol in the tanks so you fill the oil when its empty easy, dont fancy having to check every ten minutes to see if im low on oil.
  7. http://www.google.com.au/imgres?q=full+wrap+handle+660&hl=en&safe=off&biw=1024&bih=509&gbv=2&tbm=isch&tbnid=ai7N4Eu-BrbrxM:&imgrefurl=http://www.arboristsite.com/firewood-heating-wood-burning-equipment/172875.htm&docid=fsysUsZZ9NnhHM&w=500&h=375&ei=x9GCTsGPBeTvmAWwnoQw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=502&vpy=155&dur=409&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=148&ty=79&page=1&tbnh=145&tbnw=183&start=0&ndsp=8&ved=1t:429,r:2,s:0 Its what i know it as full wrap handle is what i think its called
  8. I have always found if i think too much i mess it up I have the same trouble ever thought about trying a lazyboy handle?
  9. smaller saw to make some guide marks for the larger bar to sit in? i usually scar the back with the chain to make a guideline for the back cut so it can be followed from both sides
  10. I think its a situation where it is relevant to the job for instance when rigging down i will hold up 1,2 or 3 fingers depending on how many wraps are needed but will also use the same signals for maybe two sections of poles when needing to pull out hangers, i also make a running action to signal i want the piece to run and a thumbs up to make sure everyone is ready, the trick is to keep it simple when too many are used its easy for someone who could be looking at you in a crowded tree or possibly have the sun in their eyes to miss-read an overly complicated signal.
