  1. haha your welcome mate (Free stuff now please) When are we getting larger bags and haul packs from yourself?
  2. A certain someone makes very good rope bags ^ ^ DB Tree Crackajack Rope Bag
  3. A few from recently
  4. In Oz most bigger companies will stop work when it reaches over 36C but most arb companies are small so its any heat, i have worked in 38C which was pretty hot and that was a full day no early start or finish unforntunatly
  5. I learnt the hard way how to deal with the heat after moving to Oz, 28 sounds nice, not to hot haha Water is the best thing to drink not any powerade rubbish, its absorbed quickest when it is body temperature not super cold, and drink alot often. Keep your helmet on it keeps the heat off your head and although you might be sweating buckets it helps. Eat something you lose alot of energy from trying to keep cool. Sunglasses help avoids headaches especially towards the end of the day. Keep body parts that arent always out e.g. back covered up, trust me having a week off work from heatsroke with second degree sunburn isnt fun. Sunscreen its your friend, make friends by offering to do it to people backs. Don't take trousers and boots off you will just get irritated having to put them back on, keep shorts in the truck for the drive home. Drenching yourself can be nice but it can also cover up the fact your burning. High wicking clothing is good the stretch air t- shirts are nice in the heat. Hope this helps Ewan
  6. I attach my Saw lanyard to the top of the handle just below the trigger when its clipped up it hangs in a better position and the tip of the bar doesnt trash the bottom of your trousers. Not for everyone but i love having it hanging this way

  12. I sent an email to Dmm just waiting on a reply i use a spiderjack but i use my hitchlimber on my shorter lines and when im using my RopeWrench, im not particularly worried about it just irritating and wondering if its my fault or just one of those things that happens when they get older
  13. I have heard of filing the bottom of the cam once it has worn in order to make it flatter so it pinches the rope again is away of making a cam last longer. I found with the new lever it made it alot easier for me to open the cam and use the brake.
  14. No havent e mailed Dmm yet after leanring how dropforging works it might me the makers press mark and I have just worn it down enough to see it. Might shoot Dmm and email see what they say, I might just have to buy a new one.

  20. I know why mate its more to see who has the record, i think it was something to do with my solid week of climbing in the rain and the big pine I knocked some limbs off of, possibly the dirtiest ( and not in a good way ) week of my life
  21. After seeing another thread about someones cam wearing too quickly i want to see who has the record for most worn cam in shortest time Im pretty sure i went through one in a week, either that or the body is worn after 6 months
