  1. Could you tie a munter hitch or something similar to your side D krab so it will just hold you but if the tree falls the greater weight will pull the remainder rope through realising you? I am clutching at straws in an attempt to help haha
  2. Yeah there was here is a link not sure what the rules are regarding posting links to other forums but i guess Steve will inform me if I cant. Breakaway Lanyard/ Emergency Detach Options
  3. You could not tie a stopper in the end of your lanyard and just be careful of it, so if stuff does go tits up you can just push the hitch off the rope letting you swing back into the tree. Or have a krab with out a gate so it will hold you under pressure so you just have to pull it towards your self and push it up to release it.
  4. No not at all Janey sorry i was just voicing my opinion on the reason behind getting tattoos as i know some people may not want to get something as its popular and everyone has one but if its what you want go for it Sorry for the missunderstanding

  12. Was good to meet everyone and good to see who we have been helping out I know I don't post much on the forum but was good to meet everyone. I agree with Stevie on his comments about Mick and Dave, really has shown me the effort people will go to in order to help a friend out. A hand to Mr Bullman for starting a forum with a good sense of community in order to pull together a group of people to help out
  13. I had one and really liked it, if your going to get one get the one with the swivel as it sits better under load than the normal one. Its a bit jerky when releasing under pressure but you soon get used to get, i used to have an ISC rope grab and found that temperamental but the positioner works fine everytime.
