  5. Just hoping someone might be able to enlighten me, what are the legal issues of using a rock climbing lid to climb in, and what helmets are acceptable to use? Cheers Ewan
  6. I had work experience when i was at college in 2008 worked for a guy who still used screwgate biners, a pear shaped scaffold hook to hold his saw to his harness when he wasnt cutting climbed with no helmet or ear muffs. He let me dismantle a tree using his kit when i first started that was an experience!
  7. I used one at the last placed i work and found them good but still had some disadvantages. It turns brush very well so rarley has bits bouncing around, its very easy to use and found it was easily accesable due to the easily removable sides. The fuel economy was good and the turn table is very handy, however there was a few technical issues with the machine overheating, the chipper hopper design can lead to some brush getting caught on the sides but that is only a minor worry and i also found the jocky wheel fixing felt loose and unsatble after a while. I do not mean to offend or up set just to be honest overall i think the Quadchip is an awesome bit of kit.

  11. I know someone who uses a pear shaped scaffold hook to attach his saw to his harness, he had never gotten on with a stop he just takes it off when he cuts then puts it back
