  1. how can I have the site specific RA's and Method statements in my phone so I can adjust them all with my phone. Pen and paper is not my thing and I never use them now. I can email and send them to staff, customers onsite at the touch of a button. Even to change them as the job changes through out the day. I have them as an attachment in an email, I want all the bits that are highlighted in red for my own information. Am I missing something with technology ?
  2. What's been standing under it? Overload of animal urine perhaps? Drought? Roundup?
  3. Thanks mate! Can't imagine life without it now tbh! I need to find a niche for the 7 toner though! Nice trailer!!
  4. Thanks, I am looking at the ' Stay Safe Business ' app too. You are correct a heart attack at 1 minute after logging in and then an alert 59 minutes later isn't much use either, this is in my eyes a paperwork excercise to keep a roof over my kids head if it goes to court why my insurance won't pay out
  5. Thanks everyone for your input, since starting the thread and driving 200 miles home and a lot of thinking I've got my head round it.
  6. I loan work a lot, mostly grass cutting, strimming, dragging brash, log splitting etc. I need to have something in place incase of an accident, and not just a paperwork exercise but something that when implemented could save lives. Thanks in advance:)
  7. In small companies the good climber gets the work, usually the boss. In a big company the person with the pen gets the work and the guys with the visi vests do the jobs. The big contracts are run by auditors who think every tree is the same and they push pens, they have no idea how it really works! Then little Joe Blogs falls out a tree he should never of been in and the auditors need paperwork to pass onto other paperwork junkies to look over and try and pass the buck onto someone with not enough paperwork! Just saying!
  8. What a horrible bucket for the job! Where's the middle tooth?
  9. Do some marketing, find what work is out there then buy the machinery to suit! Doing it the other way round is a harder way of doing it, trust me I know
  10. I get itchy ankles and a dry cough that doesn't go away when I'm stressed, that's the first sign! Oh and calling an ambulance when you think you are having a heart attack is the 2 NCD sign, luckily it was an anxiety attack! Break free, do not put your life desicion said in someone else's hands, it's not their priority! Imagine never having to deal with any of that again from this point on and being in charge of your own future! The best decisions I have ever made has been last thing on a Sunday night, I would worry all weekend and then once the horrendous phone call was done, I was free! There is tons of work out there, always something to do. Live your life!!
  11. Sounds like you need to get out of there! These types of folk are very clever and sneaky, with split personalities . Narcissists through and through! You won't win with them , the bosses are being tricked and they don't know it. Chuck it and free yourself!
  12. You should make a video or 2 of felling them. Those are tricky!
  13. Around 6 I think, when I was daft enough to play the hero and not insist they get BT out. BT used to say just cut them and we will fix it later
  14. Nice 1 Reg! Tom no loading it with the Roofmount now, That's not covered in Regs guarantee!!!
  15. You are definately getting the hang of this Tommy! Amazing work!
  16. And the winner is??? Brilliant thought out piece of kit! Do you have a link to your felling grapple! A wee garden clearance today for me.
  17. Mines the Pillenic and I live in Scotland, never had any issues
  18. It's a normal moon, you won't see any Blue. They just call it that
