  1. No anti-fling in engine oil but it's better than nothing. What's with not trying lower ISO viscosity oil?!
  2. And cakes your saw with burnt on layer of crap. Stopped using it. Longer bars don't like it either.
  3. Glutton for punishment. Swing shovel or grinder. ALWAYS mechanise! Rule for life...
  4. I'm currently trialing Rye Oil ISO 100 Viscosity Chain Oil in a harvester (where the tank doesn't get hot); it is significantly thinner than what is probably ISO 150 you are using... Well known Farmers Co round here also sells ISO 100... pricey tho.
  5. Fake news Well, the pro eu Guardian anyway. Anyone backing up a theory / opinion etc here with newspaper (or MSM) articles / stats obviously has yet to realise that none of the papers are neutral and unbiased. The figure might even be more than £25bn. Point is, it's ALL bs.
  6. What throttle body? There isn't one on a diesel engine.
  7. Carb clean...? Diesel...?
  8. Not familiar with 2007 L200 in this respect but symptoms sound like SCV valve in CR fuel pump... A quick internet search shows support for this theory...
  9. Ranieri sacked... Really?!
  10. Sorry. "Potential Zone of Root Influence" Willow, pop etc in clay soil?! Hmmm.
  11. When the soil temperature is over 10 degrees C.
  12. Lawnflite Pro. Bulletproof.
  13. Ah sorry yes, fair point. Introducing a pressure gauge to the header would be so useful. Some tank caps have a spring loaded pressure release, these can fail.
  14. For the uninitiated yes; do not carry out this if you don't know what you're doing and how to handle this. Nonetheless, I'm not a Health & Safety fanatic. I've done the said procedure hundreds of times.
  15. I am very interested in this thread as I've had a similar issue with an isuzu engine. Garage reckoned that jap water pump housings are notorious for sucking in air on the negative side of the pump casing. Pump was changed at same time as cambelt 2000 miles previously, so the whole pump was changed for a second time. No difference. Does the system over pressurise after said higher speed run? Volcanic explosion from header when releasing cap. Very thick rag obviously...!
  16. Are you losing coolant? Has it got water cooled egr? When you turn off engine, can you hear any hissing from the expansion tank or elsewhere?
  17. Be VERY careful about PZRI distances...
  18. I think someone made him an offer and it's sold.
  19. Yes, I heard a few of his PM / Eddie chats. Did he get married?
  20. Exactly. Sounds like a dogs dinner on the cards.
  21. Holy smokes!:scared1::scared1:
  22. Auto ignition for wood burners, hmmmm.
  23. Re woodburners
  24. Here you go. Farma would be my choice tho. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/forestry-woodland-management/76341-tracked-forwarder-4.html
