  1. Nah. I don't think so. Think you'll find the absolute opposite is true. Honda at the top of the pile from memory. Lol.
  2. Personally I think MOT's should commence after 1 year. The state of some sub 3 y/o automobiles is a disgrace.
  3. I also quite enjoy brashing. Saves a lot of grief later on trying to get the harvester head onto late thicket stage spruce and permits a run up for efficient delimbing. Whether skinning them right up in the rack or pruning them in the matrix, it's worth every penny imo.
  4. I saw that and heard it had gone viral this morning. She looks possessed!!! Lol.
  5. When you put a thread up when you first got that saw, I set my stopwatch. Didn't want too p155 on your bonfire but knew it would come to this. I'll get berrated for saying it... 560 faultless?! Spat my tea out.
  6. 12p/litre for going over 500L? Crike that's good. 500L (minimum order) was 55.9p vs 54.9p per litre for 1000 here.
  7. The final countdown...
  8. Steel skin with plastic liner, thus bunded. I've got 2 diesel grab tanks which go on the back of the forwarder; one 600L and one 400L with storage. Plastic liner prevents condensation.
  9. Nice one. Is that 100 cSt @ 40C ?
  10. The Monsanto version?
  11. Just a shame the same "analysis" isn't given to petrol engines in the public view. Nasties?
  12. Gorgeous. Wall to wall BLUE sky. Frankly the only conditions I like.
  13. Andy Dunlop, got his no somewhere...
  14. Tried another oil... No difference!!! Head funk.
  15. 9C here. Has worked ok in colder temps. Thinking end of can, extra thickeners not been agitated???
  16. Or I'm being as thick as Rye Oil Lol
  17. Well to top it off, now the Stihl is doing the same!!! Mad. Echo 8002, Echo 620, Stihl 461 (with Stihl bar). Rye oil. Only said about it being very thick recently in another thread. So thick that the harvester head can't handle it. Why would it work one day and not the next? Am at the end of the can... But it flows fine from the saw! With positive pressure. Nuts.
  18. Saw stopped oiling. Removed B&C, cleaned thoroughly. Checked for oil flow from bar mount aperture; perfect and responds to rpm. Mounted bar to check for flow thru oil hole - all good. Fit chain, rotates around spotless bar perfectly. Run saw - no oil and chain overheats. Try another saw. Same thing happens! One Tsumura bar, one Sugi. What the hell. ???????????
  19. Statistically; doesn't take much working out. The Stihl 036 must have been the best saw ever made...
  20. I had to run 20wt Flushing Oil in the head for 2000 tonnes to clear out the veg cack. Then chucked in PPS oil followed by Rye, wouldn't oil. Use basic SAE 30 now.
  21. I'm trying to get my head round the fact that you state your 550 is perfect and reliable despite it being the likely least reliable 50cc saw statistically whilst you claim poor service from Stihl and Dolmar, most likely literally more reliable, again statistically. Hmmm.
  22. Waaaaay too thick. Fine in a hot chainsaw tank but no good in a harvester.
