  1. Glad im not the only one fed up with sarnies, cheese and pickle or tuna every day for the last 3years does get abit boring! Dont have alot of money to be spending which is why sarnies are good i guess, maybe i should invest in a jetboil and get something cooking on site, or atelast re-warming something.

  4. You gurt pansy, Just a scratch!! Just messing mate, those silky saws are lethal. Must admit i avoid using them if i can. Did you have to be arial rescued

  11. I know what you mean about them being abit cramped mate, in 6ft 5 to and mine was abit of a squeeze. Just watch for rust on the old disocs...

  13. 300tdi is a belt, the td5 is a chain. My mate had his cambelt go on his 300tdi defender, made abit of a mess but not to bad considering. As a rule if i buy a new car first thing on the list is full service and cambelt change.
  14. Il try get some put up tommorow mate, its an 03 plate and is completly standard and imaculate apart from some light surface rust in places. £2800 i paid

  16. Bought my new van this afternoon, a mercedes vito 110cdi with 80,000miles. The previous owner didnt know when the cambelt was last done and looking back over the service history it dosnt say when it was done either. After reading through the maintenance schedule it dosnt say anything about cambelts at all Anyone know if they have timing chains as appose to belts? Usually whenever i get a new vehicle it has a service straight away with cambelt being done aswell, but as its not being listed in the maintenance schedule im abit puzzled. So thought id ask on here before i ring my mechanic tommorow.
  17. Im yet to work on a london plane, but it seems everything is likely to give you cancer these days so i wouldnt let it worry you.
  18. With out wanting to sound harsh it sounds like you are not physically fit enough to do this job at this moment in time. I think you should be able to fell with whatever saw your given, in principle there all the same afterall. If you were tired maybe your saw control wasnt great in which case came across as dangerous hence why you failed. If your struggling to fell a couple trees mate, id get some exercise and stuff in before your next assesment. Like i say, not meaning to put you down mate, just my input...
