  2. Been out riding motocross for the first time this weekend, weathers been so rubbish that the tracks have been shut.
  3. Brilliant mate Why nibble from the front and risk pinching the saw? Could you not have come in from the back again and nibbled the hinge down abit that way? Or is there some forester trick ive missed?
  4. Ive always thought a controlled burns is when you have means to extinguish the fire yourself... We burnt up a caravan and old lorry body once, biggest fire ive ever seen lol firebrigade turned up and said now there at the sceane they need to put it out. Luckily my dad new a bunch of the firemen and we got away with it and left it burning.

  7. I know what you saying stevie, but my dad weighed up the option and this worked best for him. Should be getting more containers in, as and when people want them, for self stograge e.c.t.. So if anyone local is reading this and wants to store anything, let me know!
  8. These are on hire, £1 per day. One is for my toys and tools and the other is being rented out as storage.
  9. A couple new containers turned up today, thought id get some pics for you lot as i know how sad we all are when it comes to big trucks and cranes! They dropped off 2 new 20ft containers and a little back hander persuaded him to move the old portacabin up around the back to a new place Il just upload them all, so sorry to bore any of you who arnt interested lol

  14. For the price of a new pot and piston id get them changed mate, saves having to pay for a new saw if it does overheat and seize or whatever...

  18. Nice job, i dont mind the odd conifer takedown like that now and again. When theres a small drop zone i usually cut and chuck it all, and as for pricing, double whatever you first thought lol
  19. Hawthorn and blackthorn are nice when ive got it, generally burn a mixture of ash and oak though which are great.

  21. Assuming you have cs30? In which case you should have been taught it then, but if your like me you've probably forgot must of the chain stuff! I only remember the chains and stuff i use daily, after that i have to have abit of a read up to remind my self of what to do.

  23. Most of us on here climb, or fell trees on a daily basis, this is much more mentally challenging than closing the cap on a stihl saw, surley? I honestly dont see the problem with these caps, there great!
  24. Glad im not the only one fed up with sarnies, cheese and pickle or tuna every day for the last 3years does get abit boring! Dont have alot of money to be spending which is why sarnies are good i guess, maybe i should invest in a jetboil and get something cooking on site, or atelast re-warming something.
