  1. Arblite type c Tried the hiflex but didnt get on with them, and company policy is to wear type c's so never really looked into type a trousers.

  7. All depends on targets, the drag, and that will be a fair few loads of chip to. There are lots of things for us to take into concideration when pricing a job. If hes not happy with the quote hes recieved, get some more quotes It could be the tree surgeon dosnt particually want the job, horrible conifers! So put a higher price on it.

  15. Heard of a chap around here, who drops in leaflets in the area he is working that says something along the line of... We are carrying out tree work in this area, and would like to apoligise for any possible disturbances created through this work, weather it be noise or sawdust. Thanks Mr x tree care... If you would like a free, no oblication quote, or would like to query this leaflet. Please phone... Its wasnt worded in that way, but you get the idea. He gets ALOT of work from it.

  21. You would struggle to find any statistics about that i think
  22. My boss took down a cedar with it, nearly 3years later it starts growing out of some ring he had left, he ate it. I couldnt tell you if it was any good or not though.
  23. Only reason i would have a bigger chipper is to pull in odd sized and bushy material, i agree, anything over 4" i use for firewood.

  25. I think i remember someone on here talking about a tree they took down, that was full of lead shot. Turned out it had been used as an "exacution spot" where criminals would stand and be shot. I dont think i dreamt it...
