  1. Nice, do you think the added weight of the new leaf was enough to finally make the branch fail?
  2. That bike reminds me of this video a friend showed me, its a yamaha r1 turbo. The rider is hardly able to control it, the front always pops up when the turbo kicks in. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-ppGiwc0wQ]YouTube - yamaha R1 TURBO![/ame]
  3. I grew up in west buckland, went to school there. Your right though, its a lovely place to live, as much as i moan about it lol
  4. I know, its pants here. Changed provider a few times and its always been slow, probably because i live down in the country. I live just outside wellington, probably about 15mins from costa del lydeard as the local chavs say.
  5. Have you checked the fan itself, to see if it clogged up? My internet is painfully slow, but thats nothing to do with my computer. My old computer was doing the same as yours though stevie which is why i went and bought a new laptop yesterday
  6. Painfully slow here
  7. I think that "bently" is a chrsyler with a bently badge, and that bike is just dam right dangerous!
  8. This just helps to show that we have some very good memebers in our armed forces, its just a shame there skills and lives are being wasted in this pointless war, ofcourse thats just my opinion.
  9. Agree with that, and also the older stihl blowers. I still do plenty of hedge trimming though, using the long reach ones to which are the worst. I cant get on with wearing gloves as i get sweaty hands and its just horride when you have gloves on. Its something i need to address, as i am already feeling the effects of vibrations on my hands and im only 19.
  10. I watched that, it was strangley cool! Can hear the coins clinking on each other as he swallows them.
  11. Stihl have put there prices up, but that seems abit steap. The trouble with stihl not allowing dealers to post saws makes shopping around for a cheaper one abit harder. If i were you, id wait to the next trade show and buy one there.
  12. Would it be worth getting something like mr blair has got, one that will take the chipper, but also double up as a good trailer for shifting logs?
  13. I would only ask what im worth, guess ive just had a bad draw with some of the companys ive been asked to work for. For example, id ask £80 to drive to site, provide all my own kit, etc... but they would just get someone fresh out of college for £50 a day. Needless to say i dont work with that company anymore, onwards and upwards for me! Hopefully...
  14. Climb away my friend....
  15. True mate, setting up on my own is the dream... just need some more experience behind me first.
  16. Fairenough mate, jimmys pretty quick! Im sure i reconised his carbon fibre helmet and bike. You go to any other hillclimb events?
  17. Because theres someone out there who will do it for less. If i asked for £100 a day, someone would do it for £80. If i asked for £80 then someone would do it for £60 and so on... Only way i can see myself making money in this game is setting up on my own...
  18. Spotted a couple of my mate on his bike, i think... jimmy hodges if you've heard of him john? Infact the "hodges" family, farther and two sons
  19. Started climbing at 17, i dont claim to be the fastest but i am safe and methodical which i think is far more important. When i get to old to climb il go work in tesco and earn some decent money lol
  20. Timing belt slipped? Oil pump? When i had a mate look at my landrover, which had similar symtems to yours, he said it could be a "diesel knock" whatever that was... lol
  21. Yep, ive heard of blades failing. Which is why it makes me cringe when i see people people shoveling chip infront the spout whilst the chippers running. Although i guess in most of these cases its coming through the housing, but if it was to come out of the spout and it was to hit the person shoveling chip they would sure know about it!
  22. 50yards? thats miles away lol Ive grown up around it so dosnt bother me i guess.
  23. Not noticed anything down here tbh, maybe its just the new leaves coming through and some old leaves dying off?
