  1. I think i remember someone on here talking about a tree they took down, that was full of lead shot. Turned out it had been used as an "exacution spot" where criminals would stand and be shot. I dont think i dreamt it...
  2. Ive heard mostly good things about them, but i do know 2 people who have had trouble finding 3rd gear after about 8,000/10,000miles has been but on the box
  3. Might have to ask nicely for a lift if your coming up the M5, bit of fuel money and a beer?
  4. I eat...LOTS! I have a very sweet tooth and dont really watch what i eat. If i didnt climb id be huge, climbing, and tree work in general keeps me fit. Which is one reson i dont go to the gym.
  5. Nice mate, seems you got a thing for mogs, bit like me You want to grab an eyefull of "skyhucks" mog on here, lovely bit of kit thats used to its full
  6. Nice video there mate, is that mog just used for offroading fun? Oh, and let those tyres down abit
  7. After seeing my mate get a tickle off a powerline, i stay well away from them. Either my boss can do it himself or we will just pass it on to the powerline guys.
  8. Not wanting to stick my nose in... But a coronet cut on a tree that is in decline, could potentially stimulate more growth from the cut and there for introduce more energy and what not into the tree through photosynthesis. Giving it a new lease of life, potentially..
  9. When i did my first aid course, everything i was taught i could improvise with a tshirt. Yes its not going to be sterile but who cares.
  10. I bought one, i did have my cs39 but still wasnt asked to show it.

  13. Im no fitness guru by any means, but i find a big bowl of muesli sets me up for the day, weather it be work or motocross
  14. What wood mate? Looks nasty
  15. Work position was fine i felt, used a back handle saw and it felt safe at the time. Was pretty new to the game back then. Yes, it think it was natural. I think that branch splitting out was the reason behind the reduction. This tree was in the middle of a field and the only targets would have been horses using it for shelter.
  16. T5 transporter mate, vw reliability and use hardly any fuel.
  17. Couple i just found, taken over a year ago. My First attempt at a cornet thingy ma bob aswell i think
  18. Easter means nothing to me, no chocolate, no church or anything. Just another sunday to me, and well dont get me started on bank holidays None the less, i suspect this will all change when i have a family of my own. Happy easter guys.
  19. I took some pics but they didnt come out very well, will take some more tommrorow hopefully. Its the lightest of marks tbh... was running fine, just knocking and oil everywhere, took the oil pump apart to and everything seemed intact. It nice stripping down the engine though, tis interesting how it all works.
  20. Well took the big ends apart and all seemed ok, so i dnt think it was that. Hmmmm just got to have a look at the small end bearings when i take the pistons out but its looking very much like the cambelt slipped and put the timing out ever slow slighty, but enough to make valves and pistons contact each other. (but valves all seem ok, just marked pistons)
  21. Love the landrover pic mate, good to see them being worked as they should
