  1. I imagine you should wear normal PPE as if you were cross cutting etc.. Personally, i would wear normal PPE but just ear muffs and glasses instead of helmet
  2. Logging rails with an 020, saw in one hand, rail in the other. Got abit to close.
  3. Came off my motocross bike mate, wasnt doing tree work

  5. Man up is the response my mates have given me lol Breathing, ive sure found out i gotta take that steady painful otherwise Been taking pain killers, climbed yesterday and grounded today. Grounding was alot easier, so going to try that for a week or so if i can. Good heads up about pain in the winter, got plenty of other injuries with give me jip in the bad weather
  6. So i've managed to crack a rib or two, thought id just bruised them, but turns out there cracked, and yes it sure hurts! Worked the last couple days which was abit of a struggle but carried on, i always find the best way to deal with injury and pain is to carry on working as usual, just change the way you do things to make it a little less painfull. Was just wondering if anyone else has had knackered ribs, and if you carried on working, what did you do to help ease the pain and get yourself through the day?

  8. Good idea mate, charge everyone a tenner. Will help out on the debt front, every penny counts When things get tight, you wont get any where being mister nice guy. I cant anyway.
  9. If you got the time, write them a polite email or letter and you may get some free goodies.
  10. Could be belts, with this hot weather they may have expanded enough to slip. You would assume you'd hear them slip but we didnt here the belts on out TP slipping.
  11. Yes, saws dont like to be left in the sun. I did know the reason but cant remember now, something to do with fuel vaporising i think. We always try keep them in the shade when there not being used. Also undo the fuel caps to release any pressure before trying to start them. Where in somerset you based mate?
  12. looks good mate, but you will end up spending a fortune on colour ink cartridges. Nout wrong with black and white designs
  13. Old railway sleepers? All the crud in the wood can gunk up the chain. Guessing you've checked chain tention and all that?
  14. I know them as may bugs, only seem to see them for a few days a year. Always fly into my room at night. Killed 3 of the buggers last night, how dare they disrupt my sleep.

  19. Sounds daft to me, my stihl dealer only makes them up from a reel in the same way i would, so what odds does it make if i do it.
  20. If Germany invaded Poland from the rear, would Greece help?
