  2. Could you build it up with weld mate, then sharpen that? Just a thought..
  3. Well the phones ringing again, but i dont have any firewood to sell this year. So im looking for a good quality supplier whos name i can pass onto my previous customers. Im based in somerset, and most my deliveries were in either wellington or taunton. So if you can help me out, drop me your number and il pass it on as and when customers phone. Cheers
  4. Its not the same as you guys... But... i was on my way out late one night and a drink driver had got his car stuck in the ditch at the side of the lane. So i offered to pull him out with the landy but i would have to pop home to get a chain, and it would cost him £40. He was more than happy to pay as he just wanted to get home before the police potentially caught up with him. Anyway, when i went home to get the chain i phoned the police, then went to pull him out. Just as he gave me the money for pulling him out the police turned out and nicked him On another occasion someone else got stuck in the same ditch, i said i could pull him out but might rip his rear bumper off due to the angle of the rope and car. So i hooked it up and gave it a bootfull and procdeded to rip his bumper clean off
  5. Very smart mate Was good to meet you at the apf also
  6. I love my ms200t, i watched him demo the new saw and wasnt impressed. I thought my 200t cut faster.
  7. I didnt look at any saw prices there today. I know jonsie was doing £399 all in at the AA trade show. So i imagine he be the same at the APF. Although he, along with other stockists may have sold out.
  8. My knees hurt abit after a session chogging down a stem, but ive got nackered knees anyway.
  9. Yh il be back friday night mate. Guess il be leaving about 6/6:30 in the morning although im not exactly sure when gates open? If your staying in taunton i can pick you up, or if you wanna drive down and leave your truck at mine thats fine (be an early start for you though) haha
  10. Just going on the friday mate, i wont be staying late into the night, as i got other things to do. Aim to get up there for when the gates open.
  11. If you can get to mine mate im driving, i know im abit further down the road though lol
  12. Il be there friday, leaving my card at home and just taking abit cash. Saves my bank balance that way!
  13. Plenty of wood to choose from! Reminds me of only fools and horses sketch with triggers broom. "this lorry has done 3millions miles, its had 2 new engines, a new cab, new axles, 4 new gearboxes etc..." lol
  14. We always find out what the customer wants to acheive, and then the invoice always states exactly what we have done and agreed on, then there a no come backs. We have ground out every root on a few stumps, spent the whole day on one job and the garden looked like a spiders web when we were finished.
  15. I know what you mean mate, ive been messed about selling saws and timber on here, so much so i havnt bothered advertising on here since.
  16. ms181, or ms180 whatever it is now will do him fine.
  17. Hmmm, pass. There in the corner of my yard and i havnt looked at them for a while. Will have a look when i get chnace and let you know.
  18. Welcome to the world of insurance for young drivers! It sucks. They wanted £2200 for me to insure my landy, then i bought my vito and paid £1300. You just gotta bite the bullet if you want to do it im afraid.
  19. Where you based? Ive got 4/5 smaller ones, 12-18inch across, about 10/15ft long at a guess. The destened for firewood as i generally cant be doing with the hassel of getting them milled.
  20. Good work lads. monkey boys, i know your only probably working as a labourer at the moment, but ditch the bling, get a pair of jeans and do up your laces. Will give a much better impression to those your working for. Some may not agree with this, but just my input and what i would look for in a member of staff Keep up the good work though, i admire your get up and go attitude
  21. Each to there own, he didnt chog it down so maybe he didnt want them. However i would have worn spikes. But agree, was pretty interesting
  22. The picture wasnt there when i replied If it is a td5? id be cautious with one with that high a mileage. They run timing chains though so no worries on changing that.
  23. haha i was going to put this up!! Awsum awsum awsum!!!!!!!
  24. plenty of life left, the chassis and body will probably rust out way before the engine goes. You got another 70k you can put on that engine If you have just bought it, id give it a full service and cambelt change. Providing you are going to/have paid the right price for it, sounds a good truck.
